How to integrate Airtable with SmartHR to automatically add employee information to SmartHR when it is registered in Airtable

Step 1: Connect Airtable and SmartHR with My Apps

First, please connect Airtable and SmartHR with My Apps in Yoom.

1. How to Register Airtable

Click "My Apps" on the left column and search for Airtable from "New Connection".

Select the workspace you want to use from "Add a Base" on the above screen.
Once selected, click "Allow Access".

This completes the registration of Airtable with My Apps.

2. How to Register SmartHR
Next, search for SmartHR from "New Connection".

From the new registration screen of SmartHR, enter the account name and access token, and click "Add".

Step 2: Setting up a trigger to activate when a record is registered in Airtable

First, click on the item "When a record is registered".

This page is already set up.
Make sure the trigger action is set to "When a record is registered" and click "Next".

The trigger activation interval can be selected as desired.
* Note: The trigger activation interval may not be selectable depending on the plan.

Set the field names for Base ID, Table ID, and Created Time based on the annotations outside the frame.

Register a sample record in the relevant table in Airtable
If the test is successful, the record information registered in Airtable will be obtained as output.
Once you confirm that the output is correctly obtained, please save it.

Step 3: Register employees in SmartHR

Next, click on the item "Register employee".

This page is already set up.
Make sure the action is set to "Register employee" and click "Next".

On the next page, set the items to retrieve information from Airtable.

Set the employee number field as shown in the image above.
* How to set: Click inside the frame and click "Employee Number" in the tab "When a record is registered".
* Explanation: By setting it as above, when a record is registered in Airtable, the "Employee Number" can be automatically retrieved and reflected in SmartHR.

By setting the "Last Name" and "First Name" fields in the same way, you can automatically retrieve information from Airtable and reflect it in SmartHR.

Once the setup is complete, click "Test".
After confirming that the information is correctly reflected in SmartHR, please save it.

All settings for the Flowbot are complete!
When the above screen is displayed, turn "Trigger ON" to activate the Flowbot.
