How to Create a Flow for Integrating BASE with Google Chat

This time, we will create a flow that [notifies Google Chat when an order is placed on BASE].
Using this flow, every time an order is placed on BASE, it will be automatically notified to Google Chat. You can check the order details on Google Chat, eliminating the need to switch between BASE and Google Chat.

It's easy to set up with just 4 steps.

1. Register BASE and Google Chat as My Apps
2. Set up a trigger to activate when an order occurs in BASE
3. Configure settings to send messages in Google Chat
4. Test and verify

Step 1: Connect BASE and Google Chat as My Apps

1. Log in to your Yoom account.
If you don't have an account, please create one on the Yoom account creation page first.
Click "My Apps" and select "New Connection".

2. Click on New Connection.

3. You can search by app name from the red frame. This time, search for and register BASE and Google Chat respectively.
Once registration is complete, the icons for BASE and Google Chat will be displayed in My Apps. Please check.

Select a Template and Prepare the Storage Location

1. Click "Try it" from the link below.

2. When the following display appears, the template copy is successful.

Step 2: Set the trigger to activate when an order is placed on BASE

1. First, click on "When an order is placed" at the top.

2. You can set the title freely.
Enter the account information to link with BASE.
Select "When an order is placed" as the trigger.
Once the input is complete, click "Next".

3. Set the trigger activation interval.
You can choose the activation interval from 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes.
※ Please note that the shortest activation interval varies depending on the plan.

Step 3: Set up to send a message on Google Chat

1. Return to the flow screen.
Next, click on the "Send Message" icon.

2. Enter the account information to link with Google Chat.
Select "Send Message" as the action to execute.
Once the setup is complete, click "Next".

3. Set the resource name of the space and the message content.
Once the setup is complete, click "Next".

4. This completes the flow of 【Notify Google Chat when an order is placed on BASE】.

Step 4: Test and Confirm

Once the setup is complete, the following screen will be displayed.
Click the "Turn on Trigger" button to activate the flow bot.
