How to Create a BASE and Slack Integration Flow

It can be easily set up in just 4 steps.

1. Register BASE and Slack as My Apps
2. Set a trigger to activate when order information is created or updated in BASE
3. Set an action to add a record in Slack
4. Test and verify

Step 1: Connect My App with BASE and Slack

1. Log in to your Yoom account.

If you don't have an account, please create one first on the Yoom account registration page.

Click "My App" and select "New Connection".

2. Click on New Connection.

3. You can search by app name from the red frame. This time, search for and register both BASE and Slack.
Once registration is complete, the icons for BASE and Slack will appear in My App. Please confirm.

Select a Template and Prepare a Storage Location

This time, we will create a flow called [Notify Slack when an order is placed on BASE].
Using this flow, you will be notified on Slack when an order is placed on BASE. This reduces the effort of checking and enables efficient order management.

Step 2: Set a trigger to activate when an order is placed on BASE

1. Click in order to proceed with the settings.
First, click on "When an order is placed" at the top.

2. You can set the title freely.
Enter the account information to link with BASE.
Select "When an order is placed" for the trigger action.
After entering, click "Next".

3. Set the trigger activation interval.
You can choose an activation interval of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes.
Once the settings are complete, perform a test and save if there are no issues.

※ The shortest activation interval varies depending on the plan, so please check in advance.

Step 3: Set an action to send a message to a channel on Slack

1. Return to the flow. Next, click on the icon for "Send a message to a channel".

2. Enter the account information to link with Slack.
Select "Send a message to a channel" for the execution action.
Once the settings are complete, click "Next".

3. Enter the channel ID and message.
Once the entry is complete, perform a test and save if there are no issues.

4. With this, the flow of 【Notify Slack when an order is placed on BASE】 is complete.

Step 4: Test and Confirmation

Once the setup is complete, a screen like the one below will be displayed.
Click the "Turn on trigger" button to activate the flow bot.
