How to Create a Bubble and BASE Integration Flow

This time, we will introduce the setting method of the following template: "Add to BASE when product information is registered in Bubble." By using this template, you don't need to set up automation from scratch, which is convenient.

The integration flow is broadly divided into the following processes.

  • Register Bubble and BASE as My Apps
  • Copy the template
  • Set the trigger in Bubble, which serves as the starting point of the flow, and then configure the subsequent operations in BASE
  • Turn on the trigger button and verify the integration operation between Bubble and BASE

If you are already using Yoom, please log in.

Step 1: Register Bubble and BASE as My Apps

Please register Bubble and BASE as My Apps to connect them to Yoom.
By registering as My Apps first, automation settings become easier.

Let's start with registering Bubble as My App.
Click "My Apps" → "New Connection" on the left side of the Yoom screen.
Search for Bubble using "Search by App Name" or find it from the app list.

When the following screen is displayed, check the instructions and set the "Account Name", "Access Token", and "Subdomain".

Next, let's register BASE as My App.
Search for BASE in the same way as before, either from the list or using "Search by App Name".

When the following screen is displayed, log in to BASE.

Once both My App registrations are complete, Bubble and BASE will be displayed.

Step 2: Copy the Template

To set up automation, click "Try it" in the banner below.

Read the following screen display and click "OK".

The following screen will be displayed, so check the "Title" and "Description".
If you want to make changes, please do so on the following page.
First, set up Bubble by clicking "When a Thing is created".

Step 3: Set Bubble Trigger as the Starting Point of the Flow and Subsequent BASE Operation Settings

When the following screen is displayed, check the settings.

  • "Title" → Can be changed freely
  • "Account Information to Link with Bubble" → Confirm if it is the account to be used
  • "Trigger Action" → When a Thing is created

The following screen will be displayed, so please configure the settings.

  • "Trigger Interval" → Choose from 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes
    * The trigger interval varies depending on the plan, so please be careful.
  • "Data Type Name" → Set as desired

After setting, click "Test", and if successful, "Test Successful" will be displayed.
The product information registered in Bubble will be displayed as a response result, so please check it.
Since the data from Bubble will be registered as product information in BASE, please check the help page here and configure the settings.
After setting, click "Save".

Next, set up BASE by clicking "Register Product Information".
When the following screen is displayed, check the settings.

  • "Title" → Can be changed freely
  • "Account Information to Link with BASE" → Confirm if it is the account to be used
  • "Action" → Register Product Information

The following screen will be displayed, so please set the "Product Name".
Use the output set in Bubble earlier to configure the settings.
The output will be displayed when you click the arrow in the red frame.
Select the output that matches the product name.
Set other items such as price and stock quantity, and click "Test" → "Test Successful" → "Save".

Step 4: Turn ON the Trigger Button and Confirm the Linking Operation between Bubble and BASE

Finally, click "Turn ON Trigger" to complete the automation settings.
Check if the flow bot is operating normally.

Other Automation Examples Using Bubble

1. This is a flow where a notification is automatically sent to Slack when a Thing is created in Bubble.
When data is added to Bubble, a notification is sent to Slack, allowing for speedy confirmation.
This eliminates the need for manual notifications, saving effort.

2. This is a flow that automatically registers responses from Google Forms into Bubble.
Since the responses from Google Forms are automatically registered in Bubble, there is no need for manual data entry.

3. This is a flow where a folder is automatically created in Google Drive when a Thing is created in Bubble.
