How to integrate Google Forms with Discord to invite users to multiple Discord channels based on their responses in Google Forms

Step 1: Integrate Google Forms and Discord with My Apps

〈Google Forms〉

First, log in to Yoom, click "My Apps" in the left menu, and then click "+ New Connection".

Next, select "Google Forms" from the "My Apps List".

If you can't find it in the list, enter "Google Forms" in the "Search Box" and select it from the suggestions.

When the following screen appears, select "Sign in With Google", log in with your account, and the integration is complete.

〈Discord〉

For integrating Discord with My Apps, you need to obtain an access token and set up a Discord Bot.
Create a new application here.

Set both "App Name" and "Icon Image" as desired, save, and click "Installation" on the left.

Next, add permission from Discord to Yoom.
Refer to How to Integrate Discord Bot with My Apps for setup, select the server to add, check permissions, click "Add", and the Bot will be newly added.
Click "Reset Token" from the Bot page to obtain the token. Copy and paste it into the Yoom screen.

If Discord is added to the "My Apps List", the process is complete.

Step 2: Copy the Template

From here, we will start setting up automation.
First, click "Try it" on the banner below.

When the following screen appears, click "OK".

Step 3: Setting Google Form Triggers and Database Integration

When the screen changes, click "When a response is submitted to the form".

When the next screen appears, select "App={Google Form}", "Account information to link with Google Form={Your Account}", "Trigger Action={When a form response is submitted}", and click.

When you move to this screen, select "Database App={Database App}" and "Execute Action={Select from Tab (Matching Title)}", then scroll down.

When the following screen appears, enter "My Project", "Database", and "Table" from the tab options, and click "Next".

When the following screen appears, enter "Yoom Record ID={Response ID}" and click "Test".

When you get an output like the one below, click "Next".

Next, click "Retrieve Channel Name and Channel ID One by One".

Select "Operation={Configured Execute Action}" and "Output={Configured Action}" according to the title, and scroll down.

※ The operation between "Repeat the Same Process" is a feature available in some paid plans. Operations and data connections set in other plans will result in errors, so please be careful. A 2-week free trial of the paid plan is available. During the free trial, you can use the restricted apps and features (operations).

Enter "Operation={Configured Execute Action}" and "Output={Configured Action}" below as well, and click "Save".

Next, click "Create Channel Invitation URL".

Select "App={Discord(v2)}", "Account information to link with Discord(v2)={Your Account}", "Action={Channel Invitation URL}", and click.

When the following output appears, click "Save".

Step 4: Creating Channel Invitation URL and Email Settings

Next, click "Send Channel Invitation URL by Email".

When the following screen appears, I will explain the input content of each required item one by one.

First, enter "App={Yoom}" and "Email Address={Select from Output of (When a response is submitted to the form)}".

Next, for "Subject", select "Channel Invitation Output" as shown below, or enter it manually.

Also, for the "Loop Variable for Channel Name" in the subject, select from "Retrieve Channel Name and Channel ID One by One", or enter it manually.
Then, click "Next".

When you have entered the "Subject" and "Body" as shown below, scroll down and click "Next".

If there are no discrepancies with the previous input, click "Test".
Once the test is successfully completed, click "Save".

Step 4: Turn ON the Trigger Button and Confirm App Integration

When the following screen appears, turn on the trigger button and confirm the app integration to complete the process.
