Benefits and Examples of Google Forms and Dropbox Integration
Benefit 1: Reducing Upload Hassle
By implementing this integration, files submitted through Google Forms can be automatically saved to Dropbox. This is expected to reduce the hassle of file uploads. For example, files submitted through Google Forms are originally automatically saved to Google Drive, but if you want to manage and share them with another tool, you need to upload them separately. This app integration can reduce such double work, potentially reducing the workload.
Benefit 2: Strengthening Team Collaboration
It is also expected to strengthen collaboration between teams using Google Drive and teams using Dropbox. For example, if the customer service department uses Google Drive and the product development department uses Dropbox, files submitted with product inquiries through Google Forms will also be automatically added to Dropbox, facilitating smooth file sharing between the two departments. This can reduce the time required for information sharing and potentially speed up business processes.
Benefit 3: Avoiding Upload Mistakes
By introducing the automation of Google Forms and Dropbox, file upload mistakes can also be avoided. For example, when uploading files manually, mistakes such as choosing the wrong folder or uploading the wrong file are common. In some cases, you might even forget to upload the file altogether. With this integration, all file uploads are done automatically, increasing the likelihood of avoiding such mistakes. This may make file management more efficient.

Other Examples of Automation Using Dropbox
Yoom has other examples of automation using Dropbox, so here are a few.
1. When a file is uploaded to Dropbox, read the file content with OCR and add it to Google Sheets
The content of the file can be read by AI and automatically stored as text in Google Sheets. This may significantly reduce data entry work.
2. When a Google Sheet is created in Google Drive, upload the file to Dropbox in PDF format
You can store Google Sheets as PDFs in Dropbox. This can be useful when creating invoices or contracts.
3. When a file is created or updated in a Dropbox folder, send an email via Gmail
This allows you to quickly be aware of changes in Dropbox, making it easier to prevent missing any file checks.

After working as a general store manager, I started working from home as an SEO writer. Later, an outsourcing agreement was signed with a marketing startup for about 5 years.
Surrounded by students at the University of Tokyo, I held a computer and spent my days studying various business terms and how to use SaaS tools.
When I was a general store manager, time was taken over and over again by office work such as sales and inventory management, human resource management, and ordering, etc., and I was unable to serve customers and often missed sales times. Even when outsourcing, there are many detailed tasks such as input, etc., and “can't such monotonous tasks be automated?” I thought so, and I really sympathize with Yoom's vision!
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
