How to integrate Google Sheets with Hot Profile to register a lead in Hot Profile when a row is added in Google Sheets

a.ohta

If you are utilizing both Hot Profile, which specializes in sales and marketing, and Google Sheets, which allows for easy collaboration in managing and editing various data, app integration is recommended.
In particular, if you are manually transferring data from Google Sheets to Hot Profile, integrating the apps can automate the process.
Reducing manual input can save time and improve work efficiency. Why not take this opportunity to incorporate automation and improve your operations?

Recommended for

  • Companies using Google Sheets and Hot Profile
  • Companies temporarily storing lead information in Google Sheets
  • Individuals manually transferring lead information from Google Sheets to Hot Profile
  • Those who want to incorporate automation for efficient operations

Benefits and Examples of Integrating Google Sheets and Hot Profile

Benefit 1: Saves Time

With this app integration, when you add a row to Google Sheets, it is automatically registered as lead information in Hot Profile. This can potentially save working time.
For example, if you add acquired leads to Google Sheets and then add that data to Hot Profile, it becomes a repetitive task.
By incorporating this app integration, you only need to perform input tasks in Google Sheets, which shortens working time and ultimately saves time.

Benefit 2: Reduces Errors

When you add a row to Google Sheets, the data is automatically transferred to Hot Profile, reducing the likelihood of human errors due to typing mistakes.
For instance, even if you carefully check the data in Google Sheets for errors, mistakes can occur during manual transfer, leading to incorrect data being added. Additionally, you might forget to add the data to Hot Profile altogether.
However, by automating the process through app integration, the data from Google Sheets is directly added to Hot Profile as leads, minimizing such concerns.

Benefit 3: Enhances Information Sharing

This app integration can facilitate smooth information sharing between teams using Google Sheets and those using Hot Profile.
For example, if the marketing team uses Google Sheets and the sales team uses Hot Profile, leads acquired from advertisements by the marketing team can be quickly added to Hot Profile, allowing the sales team to take prompt action.
In environments where speed is crucial, this benefit is significant.

Regarding the table range, it depends on the prepared Google Sheets, so enter it according to the contents of Google Sheets. This time, since we are using from A to H, we set it as shown in the image. Once you have entered it, press Next. 3. Conditions for the Record to be Updated Set the conditions for the record you want to update. From the dropdown on the left box, select the company ID set as data that does not overlap with others. Next, click the right box. Select the Google Sheets icon. From the data in Google Sheets, obtain the unique value set as non-overlapping with other data. This time, since the unique value was set as the company ID, we inserted the company ID. By doing this setting, the unique value set in Google Sheets will be linked with the information in Hot Profile, allowing the lead ID issued when a lead is added to Hot Profile to be added to Google Sheets. This makes it easier to identify which row was added to the lead in Hot Profile, as the newly created lead information ID can also be confirmed in Google Sheets. 4. Value of the Record After Update Next, set so that data is added to the lead ID column in Google Sheets. First, click the box. Select the Hot Profile icon. The data in Hot Profile will be listed. Select the data equal to the box item name. In the case of the image, since the box item name is "Lead ID", we also selected "Lead ID" from the data in Hot Profile. 4. After working as a general store manager, I started working from home as an SEO writer. Later, an outsourcing agreement was signed with a marketing startup for about 5 years. Surrounded by students at the University of Tokyo, I held a computer and spent my days studying various business terms and how to use SaaS tools. When I was a general store manager, time was taken over and over again by office work such as sales and inventory management, human resource management, and ordering, etc., and I was unable to serve customers and often missed sales times. Even when outsourcing, there are many detailed tasks such as input, etc., and “can't such monotonous tasks be automated?” I thought so, and I really sympathize with Yoom's vision!
