How to integrate kintone with Shopify to automatically add inventory information to Shopify when it is registered in kintone

You can set it up in the following 4 steps.

Step 1: Register kintone and Shopify as My Apps

Please register kintone and Shopify as My Apps to connect them to Yoom.
By registering My Apps first, it becomes easier to set up automation.

First, let's register kintone as My App.
Please refer to this help page for registration.

Next, register Shopify as My App.
※Shopify is an app available only on some paid plans.
Please note that operations or data connections with Flowbot may result in errors on other plans.
Paid plans come with a 2-week free trial.
Apps subject to restrictions can also be used during the free trial.

If kintone and Shopify are displayed in My Apps, My App registration is complete.

Step 2: Open the Template

To set up automation, please click "Try it" on the banner below.

Read the following screen display and click "OK".

The following screen will be displayed, so please check the "Title" and "Description".
If changes are needed, you can make them from the screen below.
First, to proceed with the kintone settings, click "When a record is edited (Webhook trigger)".

Step 3: Set Triggers and Actions

When the following screen is displayed, check the settings.

• "Title" → Change if necessary
• "Account information linked with kintone" → Verify if correct
• "Trigger Action" → When a record is edited (Webhook trigger)
  

The following screen will be displayed, so click within the red frame and copy the Webhook URL.
Check the precautions.
Here is the method for setting up the Webhook, so please refer to it and register.
Once set up, click "Test" → "Test Successful" → "Save".

Next, to set up record retrieval in kintone, click "Retrieve Records".
When the following screen is displayed, check the settings.

• "Title" → Change if necessary
• "Account information linked with kintone" → Verify if correct
• "Execution Action" → Retrieve Records
  

Set up inventory information in kintone for testing purposes.
Scroll through the screen and set up "Database Integration".

The following screen will be displayed, so use the output of "When a record is registered" and set the "Conditions for the record you want to retrieve".
By clicking the arrow within the red frame, you can check the output.
As an example, it was set as follows.
Once set, click "Test" → "Test Successful" → "Save".

Next, to set up Shopify, click "Update Product Information".
When the following screen is displayed, check the settings.

• "Title" → Change if necessary
• "Account information linked with Shopify" → Verify if correct
• "Action" → Update Product Information
  

The following screen will be displayed, so please check the precautions.

Scroll and use the output of "Retrieve Records" to set the required fields.
If there are other necessary fields, set them in the same way, then click "Test" → "Test Successful" → "Save".

Step 4: Verify Automation between kintone and Shopify

Finally, click "Turn on Trigger" to complete the automation setup.
Ensure that the flowbot starts correctly.
