Have you ever wanted to make the manual registration of employee information more efficient? This time, let's try to automate employee information registration by integrating Notion and Kaonavi. This automation can free you from manual input and prevent human errors. Moreover, centralizing employee registration can help streamline the onboarding process. This article explains the simple app integration and automation setup methods, as well as the benefits of implementation.
Recommended for
Those who are using Notion and Kaonavi and find manual tasks cumbersome
Those who want to centrally manage employee data across systems
Those who want to prevent human errors and automate tasks while maintaining data accuracy
Benefits and Examples of Integrating Notion and Kaonavi
Benefit 1: Prevent Human Errors and Obtain Accurate Data
Manually registering employee information in multiple systems can often lead to duplicate registrations or incorrect entries. For example, you can automatically reflect employee data registered in Notion into Kaonavi. This automation reduces the need for manual work, thereby decreasing input errors and aiding in accurate data management. By improving operational efficiency and preventing errors, it may lead to increased productivity across the company.
Benefit 2: Streamline the Onboarding Process
Integrating Notion and Kaonavi may significantly streamline the onboarding process. For instance, when a new employee registers their contact information and other data in Notion, it is directly reflected in Kaonavi, saving time and effort. This simplifies the onboarding process and eliminates the need to register the same data multiple times. Furthermore, reflecting data registered in Notion into Kaonavi makes it easier to share employee data.
Benefit 3: Centrally Manage Employee Data
Automatically reflecting employee data allows for centralized management of employee data. For example, when checking employee data, you only need to check one of the systems. This eliminates the worry of having different employee data registered and ensures that both systems have the same data. This automation can be particularly effective when optimizing personnel evaluations and placements.
We will introduce the automation method using Yoom by integrating Notion and Kaonavi.
[What is Yoom]
How to Create a Notion and Kaonavi Integration Flow
This time, we will introduce the setup method for the following template: "Register in Kaonavi when employee information is registered in Notion." Using this template is convenient as it eliminates the need to set up automation from scratch.
The integration flow is broadly created through the following processes.
Register Notion and Kaonavi as My Apps
Copy the template
Set up the Notion trigger as the starting point of the flow and configure the subsequent Kaonavi operations
Turn on the trigger button and verify the integration between Notion and Kaonavi
If you are not using Yoom, please register for free from here. If you are already using Yoom, please log in.
Step 1: Register Notion and Kaonavi as My Apps
Please register Notion and Kaonavi as My Apps to connect them to Yoom. Registering as My Apps first makes automation settings easy.
Let's register Notion as My App. Click "My Apps" → "New Connection" on the left side of the Yoom screen.
An app list will be displayed, so search for Notion from there or use "Search by App Name".
The following screen will be displayed, so click the red-framed "Select Page".

I've been working as a writer since my job in child welfare, and I'm currently writing a blog on Yoom.
While being surprised by the work efficiency improvements that can be made with Yoom, I would like to share that excitement with everyone and contribute to society.
I'll tell you about application integration and automation that even I, who has zero programming knowledge, can do.
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
