Benefits and Examples of Shopify and Outlook Integration

Benefit 1: Operational Efficiency through Automation

By integrating Shopify and Outlook, you can automate the process from order confirmation to coupon sending.
This integration sets triggers for specific product purchases and builds a system to automatically send emails based on conditions. As a result, you can reduce the effort of manually creating and sending emails, prevent human errors, and shorten working time.
For example, by setting up to send a 10% off coupon immediately after purchasing a popular product, you can provide timely customer support.
This not only improves operational efficiency but also speeds up and enhances the accuracy of customer responses.

Benefit 2: Improved Customer Satisfaction

By sending a coupon as a benefit immediately after purchase, customers can feel a sense of being "specially treated." Especially if the email content is simple and easy to read, the customer's impression may improve even more.
For instance, you can send an email like "Dear [Customer Name], thank you very much for your purchase. We are sending you a coupon code that you can use for your next shopping" within minutes of purchase. Timely responses provide customers with a sense of security and increase trust in the company.

Benefit 3: Flexible Responses Based on Conditions

By combining Shopify and Outlook, you can easily set up individual responses based on specific conditions.
You can flexibly deploy various strategies, such as sending coupons only to customers who purchase above a certain amount or offering exclusive benefits to buyers of specific categories. This segmented approach makes it easier to provide optimal services to each customer.
For example, you can respond to needs by sending a "5000 yen off coupon" to customers who purchased high-priced items or a "free shipping coupon" to those who bought specific accessory products.
This system not only enhances the value provided to customers but also broadens the range of services offered by the company.

Other Examples of Automation Using Shopify

At Yoom, we have other examples of automation using Shopify, and we would like to introduce a few of them.

1. Notify Microsoft Teams When an Order is Placed on Shopify

When an order is placed on Shopify, the order information is automatically notified to Microsoft Teams. This facilitates smooth information sharing with the team and allows you to immediately know when an order has been placed, enabling you to start preparing for shipment.

2. Once product information is created in Shopify, create a folder in Google Drive

By utilizing this flow, a folder is automatically created in Google Drive for each product, allowing centralized management of related files. This prevents information from being scattered, making it easier to quickly find the necessary information.

3. Register product information in Shopify using Google Form data

By integrating with Google Forms, the information entered in Google Forms can be reflected in Shopify. By consolidating product information in Shopify, it becomes easier to manage inventory and understand sales status, and it is expected to reduce the effort and errors associated with data entry.
