How to integrate Trello with Airtable to automatically add a card registered in Trello to Airtable

m.wadazumi

When managing multiple projects simultaneously, it is important to keep track of progress.
By utilizing automation that adds cards created in Trello to Airtable, you can easily grasp the status of tasks across different teams.
This will allow you to respond quickly even if there are delays in tasks.
Additionally, administrators can visualize tasks, saving the effort of checking progress.

Recommended for

  • Those using Trello and Airtable who want to reduce the effort of information sharing
  • Those who feel challenges in task management and want to optimize resources
  • Those managing multiple projects and want to reassess priorities

Benefits and Examples of Trello and Airtable Integration

Benefit 1: Easier Information Sharing

By automatically registering cards from Trello to Airtable, it becomes easier to share information between departments and different teams.
For example, when the customer support team records feedback from customers in Trello, it is automatically reflected in Airtable, making it easy to share with the development team or customer support team.
This minimizes inter-departmental communication and is expected to improve work transparency.
Furthermore, it can prevent overlooking tasks and response errors.

Benefit 2: Reduction of Transcription Work

By automatically adding Trello tasks to Airtable, the person in charge is freed from transcription work.
For example, manually transcribing task information to other applications increases the risk of human error and takes time.
However, by utilizing automation, manual work is eliminated, allowing the person in charge to focus on core tasks.
This prevents transcription errors and ensures more accurate information management.
Additionally, when a task is added to Trello, it is also added to Airtable, preventing transcription omissions.

Benefit 3: Visualization of Project Progress

Even when multiple projects are progressing simultaneously, by utilizing automation that adds Trello tasks to Airtable, project progress can be visualized.
For example, when multiple teams are working on various projects, administrators can grasp progress at a glance, allowing them to take measures for delayed projects.
This eliminates the need for administrators to check progress with the person in charge, saving effort.
Additionally, by checking Airtable, you can confirm tasks on Trello without having to switch between both applications.

We will introduce how to automate using Yoom by integrating Trello and Airtable.

Other Examples of Automation Using Trello and Airtable

1. This is a flow that automatically notifies Microsoft Teams when a new card is created in Trello.
When a card is created in Trello, a notification is sent to Microsoft Teams, so there is no worry about missing tasks.
Team members can keep track of tasks through Microsoft Teams notifications, allowing them to understand the overall progress of the team.

2. Once Trello is launched, this flow automatically adds Trello information to a Google Spreadsheet.
Since Trello card information is added to the Google Spreadsheet, it becomes easier to manage tasks.
You no longer need to manually transfer tasks, which reduces working time.
