How to integrate Wrike with LINE to receive notifications on LINE when a task is registered in Wrike

k.ohshiro

Have you ever felt the following challenges while managing tasks?

  • You often miss tasks because you can't keep track of all the tasks you have
  • You inform members of added tasks each time, but find the notification process cumbersome

Especially in jobs that require multitasking, there are many opportunities to feel the above challenges because the number of tasks to manage increases.
To solve such challenges, I have created a flow that automatically notifies LINE of task information registered in Wrike!
This flow is recommended for those who use Wrike and LINE.

Benefits of Integrating Wrike and LINE

Benefit 1. Reduction of Human Error

By using the integration in this article, task information registered in Wrike is automatically notified to LINE.
For those who have been sharing task information manually, the burden of notification work can be reduced, leading to improved work efficiency.
Additionally, automation of notification work can also be expected to reduce human error.
Sending notifications manually each time carries the risk of input mistakes or forgetting to notify.
If there is an error in the notification content, it may not be possible to process the task accurately, leading to unnecessary effort.
Moreover, if there is a notification omission, it may cause delays in project progress.
The automatic integration in this article is an effective countermeasure against such risks.

Benefit 2. Efficiency in Project Management

For project managers, it is important to always keep track of task information.
Knowing "who has what tasks and when they are expected to be completed" makes progress management easier, allowing the entire project to proceed smoothly.
Using the automatic integration of Wrike and LINE leads to quickly grasping task information.
Project managers can quickly catch up on the latest task information, making it easier to adjust priorities and assign optimally, leading to increased efficiency in project management.

Wrike and LINE Integration Flow

Now, let's introduce how to actually integrate Wrike and LINE.
The flow introduced this time is "Notify LINE when a task is registered in Wrike".
The specific integration steps are as follows.

  1. Set up an app trigger in Wrike
  2. Notify LINE

Yoom provides the above two steps as a template.
You can create a flow bot more easily than creating from scratch, so first click the "Try it" button on the banner below to copy the template!
Once the copy is complete, you can operate it from "My Projects" in the sidebar.

Integration of Wrike and LINE with My Apps

After copying the template, register Wrike and LINE in Yoom's My Apps as a preliminary step.
※ If you have already registered, please proceed to "Step 1. Setting the App Trigger".

<Procedure>

1. After logging into Yoom, click "My Apps" → "+ New Connection" in order

2. Search for Wrike and LINE from the search window and enter the necessary information for each registration

If Wrike and LINE are displayed in the My Apps list, preparation is complete!
Let's proceed to the detailed settings right away!
※ Notes
・You need to add "LINE Notify" from the official LINE account as a member in the talk room set as the destination during app integration.
・If you select "Receive notifications from LINE Notify 1:1", you do not need to add the "LINE Notify" account to the talk room.

Step 1. Setting the App Trigger

First, click the app trigger "When a task is created".

On the first page, the account information of Wrike that you linked beforehand will be displayed, so please check it and if there are no issues, click "Next".

On the next page, set the trigger activation interval.
Select any value.
※ The "trigger activation interval" varies depending on your contracted plan, so please be careful. For details,
please see here.

If there are no issues up to this point, the trigger setting is complete with "Save".

Next, copy the template to My Project and create a Flowbot.
If you haven't copied it yet, please copy the Flowbot template from below.

1. Hover over the banner and click "View Details"
2. Click "Try this template" on the page you moved to
3. Register for Yoom
* If you have already completed registration, the login screen will be displayed, so please log in.

Step 2. Notify on LINE

Next, please click "Notify on LINE".

On the first page, account information will be displayed as in Step 1, so if there are no issues, please click "Next".
On the second page, set the message content.
Please use the information output from Wrike to input.
<span class="mark-yellow">It is recommended to describe the content here in detail. By doing so, you can understand the task information in detail from the LINE notification content, saving you the trouble of accessing Wrike.</span>

Click "Test" and if no errors occur, click "Save".
When a popup like the one below is displayed, all settings are complete.
When you turn the trigger ON, the flow will be executed.

Many people use Garoon as groupware.
If you want to manage tasks on Garoon's calendar, please refer to this integration.
This helps prevent tasks from being overlooked.

2. Add Case Actions Registered in Mazrica to Wrike

The automation introduced in this article was triggered by Wrike, but this integration starts with Mazrica and outputs information to Wrike.

The risk of forgetting to add tasks is also reduced.

I've been working for SaaS companies as a customer success since I was a student. I was working using multiple cloud services, and there were times when I thought it would be convenient if services could be linked more easily with each other. Since apps can be linked without code with Yoom, anyone can easily set it up. I would like to be able to convey the appeal of Yoom in an easy-to-understand manner and contribute to improving everyone's work efficiency!
