Let's Create a Flow to Automatically Write and Transfer Data to Google Calendar
Now, let's actually create a flow to automatically write and transfer data to Google Calendar! This time, we'll proceed with the setup using Yoom, a no-code platform. If you don't have a Yoom account yet, please issue one from the registration form here.
[What is Yoom]
This time, we will create a flow bot that creates an event in Google Calendar when an email containing a specific keyword is received in Gmail!
The creation process can be broadly divided as follows:
Integration of My Apps with Gmail and Google Calendar
Copy the template
Set up the trigger in Gmail and the action in Google Calendar
Set the trigger to ON and complete the preparation for flow operation
Step 1: Link Gmail and Google Calendar with My App
Click "+ Add" from "My App" in the left menu of the Yoom screen.
Enter the name of the app you want to link in the search box.
How to Link Gmail with Yoom
When you search for Gmail, this screen will be displayed. Click "Sign in with Google".
Select the account you want to link.
Since the screen to log in to Yoom will be displayed, press "Continue".
Check the scope of access permissions and press "Continue" to complete the linking!

When the template is copied to "My Project," a screen like this will be displayed.
Step 3: Set up Gmail Trigger
Open the copied template
Open the copied template from "My Project" in the menu on the left. (※ If you set it immediately after copying the template, you do not need to open the template. If you interrupt the setting, open it from "My Project" and resume!)
Open the app trigger (Gmail app)
Click on "When a mail matching a specific keyword is received."
Select the linked account and action
Enter the necessary sections. "Title": Can be changed as needed "Account information linked with Gmail": Check if it is correct "Trigger action": Select "When a mail matching a specific keyword is received"
Set up the API connection for the app trigger
Select the "Trigger interval" from 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes. If you want to write to Google Calendar quickly, set it at a shorter interval! ※ Please note that the selection of intervals varies depending on the plan.
Set the "keyword" to filter emails. This time, we set it to "meeting"!
We are actually receiving emails related to meetings in Gmail!
If the test is successful, the output will be displayed. Once you have confirmed the content, click "Save"! ※ For a detailed explanation of the output, please check here.
Change the "Title" as needed and select the "Conversion type".

What is Yoom hyperautomation?
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
