This time, we will proceed with the setup using Yoom without any coding!

This time, we will create a flow bot that notifies Google Chat when lead information is registered in Salesforce!
The creation process is broadly divided into the following steps.

  • Integrate Salesforce and Google Chat with My Apps
  • Copy the template
  • Set the trigger in Salesforce and the action in Google Chat
  • Set the trigger to ON and complete the preparation for flow operation

Step 1: Integrate My App with Salesforce and Google Chat

First, log in to your Yoom account.

1. Click on My Apps and then click on + Add.

2. You can search by app name in the input field.

Register My App with Salesforce

Let's register Salesforce as My App!
Enter Salesforce in the input field, and the Salesforce icon will appear. Click on the Salesforce icon.

Salesforce is an app available only on the Team Plan and Success Plan.
On the Free Plan or Mini Plan, Flowbot operations and data connections may result in errors, so please be careful.
Note that there is a 2-week free trial for paid plans (Team Plan and Success Plan), so try it out with the trial first!

1. The Salesforce login screen will appear. Log in with the account you want to integrate.

If an error is displayed during My App integration, please check the following link.
If "Session expired or invalid" error is displayed in Salesforce
Click "Add" to complete the registration of My App with Salesforce.

Register My App with Google Chat

Similarly, search for Google Chat and click on the icon.

Integration with Google Chat is only possible with Google Workspace.

Search for Google Chat in the same way.
Click on Google Chat (OAuth).

1. The following screen will appear.
Click on "Sign in with Google".

2. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.

Once you have finished entering, click "Register".

If the registration of My App is successful, the following screen will be displayed.
Check if the icons for Salesforce and Google Chat are displayed on the My Apps screen.

Step 2: Copy the Template

Click on "Try it" from the link below.

If the following display appears, the template copy was successful.
The copied template will be stored in My Projects.

Step 3: Setting up a trigger to activate when a new record is registered in the Lead object in Salesforce

First, click on the icon at the top that says "When a new record is registered in the Lead object".

Set up the account information to integrate with Salesforce.
Select the trigger "When a new record is registered in the Lead object".
Once the setup is complete, click "Next".

  • Trigger activation interval: You can choose from 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes.
    The shortest time you can set depends on the plan you are using, so

  • My Domain URL: Enter it while checking the annotation in the red frame.

Once the setup is complete, click Test.

When the test is successful, the information retrieved from Salesforce will be displayed as output.

Step 4: Setting up notifications in Google Chat

Finally, click on the "Send Message" icon.

Set up the account information to integrate with Google Chat.
Select the action "Send Message".
Once the setup is complete, click "Next".



Set up each item.

  • Space Resource Name: When you click the input field, suggestions will appear as shown below.
    Select the appropriate one from the displayed options.

  • Message Content: When you click the edit field, the output will be displayed.
    Try editing and creating the message while quoting the output!

Once the setup is complete, test to ensure it works properly.
If there are no issues, save and you're done!

Step 5: Testing and Confirmation

Well done! All settings are now complete.
Once the setup is complete, the following screen will appear.
Click "Turn on the trigger" to activate the flow bot.
