The creation process is broadly divided into the following steps.

  • Integrate Wrike and Google Chat with My Apps
  • Copy the template
  • Set the trigger in Wrike and the action in Gmail
  • Set the trigger to ON and complete the preparation for flow operation

Step 1: Register Wrike and Google Chat as My Apps

Please register Wrike and Google Chat as My Apps to connect them to Yoom.
By completing the My Apps registration in advance, you can smoothly proceed with the automation settings.

Register Wrike as My App

1. First, let's register Wrike as My App.
Click "My Apps" → "+ Add" on the left side of the Yoom screen.

Search for Wrike from the list of apps or use the search function to find it.

2. Enter the account you want to link on the following screen and click Add.

3. After logging in, please "approve" the connection with Yoom.

Register Google Chat as My App

4. Next, register Google Chat as My App.
Click Google Chat from the "+ Add" in Yoom and sign in, just like in (1).

The following screen will be displayed, so enter the "Client ID" and "Client Secret".

How to Register Google Chat (OAuth) as My App

Once each is registered as My App in Yoom, the connection is complete!

Step 2: Copy the Template

1. To set up automation, click "Try it" on the banner below.

2. Read the following screen display and click "OK".

Step 3: Setting Trigger Actions in Wrike

1. Let's start setting up the flow! First, click "When a task is created".

2. The following screen will be displayed, so check the settings and press "Next".

  • "Title" → Can be changed freely
  • "App" → Wrike
  • "Account information linked with Wrike" → Check for any discrepancies in the account
  • "Trigger Action" → When a task is created

3. Once the settings are complete, please create a task in Wrike for testing!

This time, we created a task as shown below.

4. Set the trigger activation interval from the dropdown according to your needs.
※ The shortest activation interval varies depending on your contracted plan.

5. After setting, click "Test". If the test is successful, you can obtain the output.
Since this value will be used in the next setting, check and save the obtained content.

Step 4: Setting to Retrieve Task Information from Wrike

1. Next, click "Retrieve Task Information".

2. As before, check the following settings and press "Next".

  • "Title" → Can be changed freely
  • "App" → Wrike
  • "Account information linked with Wrike" → Check for any discrepancies in the account
  • "Action" → Retrieve Task Information

3. Next, perform the API connection settings.
Select the task ID you want to retrieve from the output obtained earlier!

4. After setting, execute "Test"!

When you scroll, the output will be displayed as before. This will also be used in the Google Chat settings, so check the data.
Once confirmed, click "Save".

Step 5: Setting Notifications for Google Chat

1. We're quickly at the last setting item! As before, click "Send Message".

2. Similarly, check the following settings and press "Next".

  • "Title" → Can be changed freely
  • "App" → Google Chat
  • "Account information linked with Google Chat" → Check for any discrepancies in the account
  • "Action" → Send Message

3. Click the input field and select the "Space Resource Name" from the suggestions.

4. Enter the "Message Content" according to your needs!
※ By combining template messages and outputs, you can automatically notify according to the content of each task.

This time, we entered the following content for testing ↓

5. After completing the settings, proceed to "Next" and click "Test".
Once the test is successful, check if the notification has been received in Google Chat!

After confirming, click "Save".

Step 6: Set the Trigger to ON and Verify Operation

Finally, click "Turn on the trigger" to complete the automation settings!
Make sure the flow bot is running correctly.
