With the advancement of IT technology, it is not uncommon for internal meetings during remote work, as well as business negotiations with distant companies, to be conducted via Zoom. In such scenarios, automating the summarization of Zoom meeting audio is quite convenient. By implementing this automation, the content of Zoom meetings can be automatically summarized, potentially significantly reducing the time required to create meeting minutes. Furthermore, the summarized meeting data is notified to the communication tool direct, allowing for quick sharing of meeting content. This automation can be implemented without the need for programming. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

To Further Automate
Yoom is packed with features and innovations not only for automation but also for facilitating smooth business operations. For example, the automation introduced here can be customized to better suit your needs.
Arrangement 1: Store in Notion
You can also store summarized data on a specified page in Notion. If you are accumulating meeting minutes or business discussions, this can eliminate manual work, allowing for efficient data management.
Of course, you can also notify directly at the end. In this case, besides the summary results, you can also notify which database in Notion it was stored in, making it easier for members to access Notion.
Arrangement 2: Save to Google Drive
This is a flow where you can store meeting data directly in Google Drive. Not only can you review the summary results, but you can also revisit the entire meeting, which might help you capture subtle nuances from the other party.
Additionally, members who couldn't attend the meeting will find it easier to review.
Other Examples of Automation Using Zoom
Here are some other examples of automation using Zoom.
1. Issue a Zoom meeting based on responses from a reservation form, add it to Google Calendar, and notify via email
Automatically create a Zoom meeting based on the client's reservation. It will also be registered in Google Calendar, which might streamline schedule management.
2. Notify Slack with a list of webinar registrants after the Zoom meeting ends
You can share the list of webinar registrants with your team. This allows you to see who participated on the day, which may be useful for marketing or sales data.
3. Integrate with Zoom to create a meeting at a specific schedule
Use this feature to create meetings held at regular intervals, such as regular meetings.
Benefits and Examples of Integrating Zoom with Direct
Benefit 1: Reduction of Work Time through Automatic Transcription and Summarization
By implementing this integration, it is possible to automate not only the transcription of Zoom meeting content but also its summarization. Furthermore, the summary results are sent to Direct, which is expected to reduce the work time of the entire process. For example, when summarizing lengthy meeting data, the work time inevitably becomes longer. Even if AI is used for summarization, the time spent waiting for a response may proportionally increase with the length of the summary, making it less efficient. However, with this integration, the flow of transcription, summarization, and notification is completed quickly, which should result in significant resource savings.
Benefit 2: Consistency of Content through AI Summarization
Since the content of Zoom meetings is automatically summarized by AI, there is a higher possibility of achieving consistency in content compared to manual summarization. For example, when summarizing manually, there is a possibility of bias depending on the summarizer. Sometimes, important data might not be shared because key points are overlooked. Automation serves as a means to easily avoid such human errors. As a result, it may be possible to create summaries that are easy to understand for anyone.
Benefit 1: Improved Sharing Speed through Quick Notification to Direct
The final step of this flow allows the summary content to be sent to Direct. Therefore, it is expected that members who need to share meeting or negotiation content can quickly grasp it. For example, if a lengthy Zoom meeting is held, reviewing the meeting content from the beginning while summarizing it can be time-consuming, potentially delaying sharing with members. By implementing this automation, summaries and notifications of summary data are conducted quickly, enabling efficient information sharing.
Conclusion
Transcribing the content of long meetings can be considered a rather labor-intensive task. Moreover, when summarizing, important points must be picked out, which can take a considerable amount of time. However, by implementing this integration and automating the process, not only will the content of Zoom meetings be summarized, but notifications will also be sent to Direct, which the team uses, significantly reducing administrative work. By utilizing Zoom to introduce automation, you may be able to improve your operations. Please take this opportunity to try it out.

After working as a general store manager, I started working from home as an SEO writer. Later, an outsourcing agreement was signed with a marketing startup for about 5 years.
Surrounded by students at the University of Tokyo, I held a computer and spent my days studying various business terms and how to use SaaS tools.
When I was a general store manager, time was taken over and over again by office work such as sales and inventory management, human resource management, and ordering, etc., and I was unable to serve customers and often missed sales times. Even when outsourcing, there are many detailed tasks such as input, etc., and “can't such monotonous tasks be automated?” I thought so, and I really sympathize with Yoom's vision!

What is Yoom hyperautomation?
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
