Let's Create a Flowbot to Add Customers Data from WooCommerce to Salesforce

Let’s walk through how to automatically add new customer data created in WooCommerce as a lead in Salesforce.

Setup time: 5 minutes

What You’ll Need

  • A free Yoom account
  • Access to WooCommerce & Salesforce

Setup Overview

  •  Connect WooCommerce & Salesforce with Yoom
  • Copy the template
  • Set up WooCommerce triggers and Salesforce actions
  • Activate the Flowbot

Step 1: Register WooCommerce & Salesforce in My Apps

1. Add  WooCommerce

Go to My Apps in Yoom and click the "+ Add" button. Select WooCommerce.

When the following screen appears, enter your  account name, Consumer Key, and Consumer Secret as shown in the annotations.
Click "Add".

2. Add  Salesforce

Similarly, click the "+ Add " button and select Salesforce.

Enter your Salesforce username and password to log in.
Note: If Salesforce is already connected with other services, Yoom’s API connection may not work properly. 

 On the permission screen, click "Allow".

Step 2: Copy the Template

Click the "Try it" button to copy the pre-built Flowbot into your project.

Yoom copies this template to your “My Project”. Click "OK" and give it a name so it’s easy to recognize. 

Step 3: Set Up  WooCommerce Trigger

In the copied flow, click the app trigger step labeled "When a customer is created".

Give your trigger a title (anything you like). Select your WooCommerce account, and check the default settings. If there are no issues click “Next”. 

Manually enter the  TOP page URL as indicated by the annotation outside the frame. 
Click the "Test" button to verify the connection. If the test is successful, proceed to the next page.

Create a test customer in WooCommerce.  the (You can enter any customer info).

Return to  Yoom, and run the test.
The created customer info should appear as retrieved value.
You’ll use these data in the following steps to map fields to Salesforce, so check the details are correct!

Step 4: ConfigureSalesforce Action

Open Salesforce’s action step,  "Add a record".

Give your action a title (anything you like). Select your Salesforce account, and check the default settings. If there are no issues click “Next”.

Set up to  automatically register customer info  from  WooCommerce → Salesforce:

  • My Domain URL
  • Object API Reference Name 

Map the fields you want to sync. 

For example, 

  • Last Name (WooCommerce) → Last Name (Salesforce) 

This will pull “Last Name” data from WooCommerce and register to Salesforce.

Run  the test. If successful, save your settings. 

5: Activate the Flowbot 

Toggle the  "Trigger ON" button to activate your flow. Try adding a test customer data in WooCommerce and check if a lead is created in Salesforce. 

That’s it!
Your WooCommerce is now automatically synching with Salesforce :)
