How to integrate kintone with OpenLogi to create a shipping request in OpenLogi when the status is updated in kintone

n.fukuoka

OpenLogi is a convenient tool that allows you to centrally manage the flow from warehouse management to shipping arrangements. It also enables smooth integration with e-commerce sites, helping to automate operations.
However, when manually placing an outbound request with OpenLogi, there are many fields that need to be filled in, which can take a significant amount of time to complete.
This article explains the specific benefits of integrating kintone with OpenLogi and the simple steps to start automation.

Benefits of Integrating kintone and OpenLogi

Benefit 1: Reduction of Human Errors

By integrating kintone with OpenLogi, manual work in creating outbound requests is reduced, minimizing the risk of human errors.
Automation reduces human errors such as input mistakes or information omissions during data entry.
For example, when an apparel shop ships inventory during a sale, if the staff manually enters inventory numbers or shipping destinations, there is a higher chance of numerical errors or omissions. This could result in incorrect items being delivered or delays in shipping.
However, by implementing automation, accurate outbound instructions are automatically issued every time the inventory is updated, reducing the risk of misdelivery and aiming for smooth shipping.

Benefit 2: Standardization of Business Processes

Integrating kintone with OpenLogi allows logistics operations to proceed smoothly.
For example, if an apparel shop receives many orders during a sale, different methods by each staff member could lead to inconsistencies in the process and timing.
However, by automating the flow, as soon as inventory is updated in kintone, OpenLogi automatically creates an outbound request.
Furthermore, since outbound requests are automatically issued in OpenLogi, staff only need to follow those instructions, reducing variations in work procedures.

In this article, we will proceed with the integration using Yoom.

Other Automation Examples Using kintone and OpenLogi

There are many other examples of automation using kintone and OpenLogi in Yoom, so here are a few introductions.

1. This is a flow where an inbound request is created in OpenLogi when the status is updated in kintone.
The flow introduced this time was for outbound requests, but inbound requests are also possible with this template.
By utilizing Yoom's templates, both outbound and inbound processes can be handled smoothly.

2. This is a flow to update OpenLogi product information when a product is updated in kintone.
