Other Automation Examples Using LINE WORKS and Slack

There are many other examples of automation using LINE WORKS and Slack on Yoom, so here are a few introductions.

1. This is a flow where messages posted on LINE WORKS are translated and the translated version is posted on Slack.
Do you often repeat "copy → translate → paste" for translations? If you want to reduce such tasks, this template is recommended!
Messages received on LINE WORKS are automatically translated and immediately posted on Slack, eliminating the need for manual translation.

2. This flow creates an event in the LINE WORKS calendar and sends a notification to Slack when a specific schedule is reached.
By using this template, you can automatically create events in the LINE WORKS calendar based on the set schedule and send notifications to a specified Slack channel.
This will simplify schedule management for regular meetings and help prevent information sharing gaps across the team.

3. This is a flow to translate messages posted on Slack and post the translated version to LINE WORKS.
Have you ever experienced delays in responses due to the time it takes to translate when communicating with overseas members?
By using this template, Slack messages will be automatically translated and immediately posted to LINE WORKS, allowing for smooth information sharing without worrying about language barriers.

Benefits and Examples of Integrating LINE WORKS and Slack

Benefit 1: Enables Rapid Information Sharing

When working in a team, it's quite important to keep track of each other's schedules, right? Knowing where everyone is and what they're doing makes coordination easier.
However, manually sharing schedules can surprisingly take a lot of time...
For example, when a sales representative wants to share their schedule with the team, they first open LINE WORKS to check their schedule. Then, they manually input that information into Slack... It's a simple task, but it can become time-consuming when repeated.
By integrating LINE WORKS and Slack, schedules are automatically notified in Slack, allowing team members to simply check a dedicated Slack channel to understand each other's schedules.
If you can quickly share schedules with your team, there will be fewer exchanges like "Are you free today?" and team coordination will likely become smoother!

Benefit 2: Reduces the Effort of Confirmations

In the course of work, there are surprisingly many situations where you want to confirm things like "Do we have a meeting today?" or check a member's schedule.
For example, when a project manager wants to check a member's schedule, they first open LINE WORKS and check each person's schedule.
If there's something they need to know, they send a message on Slack like "Do you have time this morning?"
But a quick response isn't always guaranteed, and both the person checking and the one being checked might spend time on this exchange.
With automation, LINE WORKS schedules are automatically notified in Slack, eliminating the need for individual confirmations and reducing the effort involved in confirmation tasks.
For members, if the number of times they're asked "Can I check something with you now?" decreases, they might have fewer interruptions in their work.
As a result, the time spent on confirmations could be redirected to other tasks.

Benefit 3: Prevents Overlooking Schedules

No matter how careful you are, it's possible to accidentally overlook a schedule when you're busy.
Especially when managing schedules with multiple tools, it can become unclear where you've entered a schedule, increasing the effort needed for confirmation. This raises the risk of forgetting important appointments.
Additionally, during busy periods, you might forget to check your schedule.
Some people might have experienced realizing a meeting is approaching and not having enough time to prepare...
By automating the aggregation of LINE WORKS schedules into Slack, you can consolidate the places you need to check, reducing the risk of overlooking something.
For example, if you open Slack first thing in the morning and see a list of the day's meetings, you can handle meetings that require preparation with ease.
If you can thoroughly check your schedule, you might find yourself less rushed and able to work with a more relaxed mindset!

Conclusion

By integrating LINE WORKS and Slack, you can now automatically retrieve your daily schedule from LINE WORKS every morning and notify it in Slack. Just by opening Slack, you can immediately check the day's schedule, saving you the trouble of opening LINE WORKS to ask, "What was today's schedule?"
Moreover, your team members can easily grasp your schedule at a glance, speeding up meeting arrangements and task sharing. Communication might become even smoother!
Are you thinking, "Programming is impossible for me, and automation has nothing to do with me..."?
With Yoom, you can easily start automation without any coding! Even without IT expertise, simple operations are all you need. There's no need to write complex code or build intricate systems.
Why not experience the discovery that "Automation might be simpler than I thought" with Yoom?
