k.ueno

Many customer support staff want to minimize delays and oversights in handling inquiries. By using Yoom to integrate Re:lation with Slack, once a ticket is created in Re:lation, detailed information about the ticket is automatically notified to Slack, enabling quick and appropriate responses to inquiries. By customizing the message content to suit operations, it becomes easier to grasp ticket details at a glance, making it easier to share with team members. This article explains how to set up an automated flow to notify Slack when a new ticket is created in Re:lation and the benefits of implementing it. By incorporating it into your operations, you can achieve smooth information sharing and prompt and accurate customer support, so please take a look.

Recommended for

  • Those who have implemented Re:lation and Slack
  • Personnel who want to prevent delays and oversights in handling inquiries
  • Support team leaders facing challenges in information sharing across multiple departments
  • Those who want to strengthen team collaboration using Re:lation and Slack

Benefits and Examples of Integrating Re:lation and Slack

1. Improved Response Speed

When a new ticket is created in Re:lation, it is automatically notified to Slack, allowing support staff to quickly address the inquiry. For example, even during busy periods with a large number of inquiries, receiving information quickly through Slack notifications can prevent oversights in responses. Providing accurate and prompt answers can lead to improved customer satisfaction and reliability.

2. Easier Information Comprehension

By utilizing Slack's notification feature to receive detailed information when a ticket is created in Re:lation, you can quickly determine the priority of inquiries. For example, by including the ticket status in the message when notifying Slack of the ticket content, you can efficiently manage inquiries that require priority handling. Enabling appropriate responses according to the situation may strengthen the trust relationship with customers.

3. Achieving Smooth Information Sharing

Since all relevant team members can share the creation of a ticket in Re:lation through Slack notifications, information transmission becomes smoother. For example, when receiving a technical inquiry in Re:lation, all stakeholders, including development members, can understand the situation through Slack notifications. By notifying detailed information within Re:lation, even if the person in charge is absent, other members can easily take over the response, potentially eliminating time loss in information comprehension. Let's create a flow bot using the template "Notify Slack when a new ticket is created in Re:lation." [Yoom Overview]

How to Notify Slack When a New Ticket is Created in Re:lation

It is possible to achieve this by receiving the creation of a new ticket in Re:lation using Re:lation's API and notifying a specific channel in Slack of the new ticket creation on Re:lation with any content using Slack's API. Generally, programming knowledge is required to achieve this, but it can be easily accomplished without programming knowledge by using the no-code tool Yoom. The work until the flow is completed proceeds as follows:
  • Integration of Re:lation and Slack My Apps
  • Copying the template
  • Setting triggers in Re:lation and settings in Slack
  • Turning the trigger ON
