This saves you the hassle of checking Slack messages each time while organizing your schedule and creating Google Meet!

Let's Create a Slack and Google Meet Integration Flow!

Let's get started by creating a flow that integrates Slack and Google Meet!

This time, we'll use Yoom to proceed with the integration of Slack and Google Meet without any coding.

[What is Yoom]

This time, we'll create a flow bot that transfers data to Google Meet when a contact is registered in Slack!

The creation process is broadly divided into the following steps.

  • Integrate Slack and Google Meet with My Apps
  • Copy the template
  • Set up triggers and actions
  • Set the trigger to ON and complete the preparation for flow operation

Step 1: Register My Apps

First, let's register "Slack" and "Google Meet" as my apps.

Click "Add" on the right from "My Apps" on the left.

Register Slack as My App

After clicking "Add", search for "Slack" from the app list.

Enter the URL of your Slack workspace.
When the following screen appears, check it and proceed to the next step.

Register Google Meet as My App

Search for "Google Meet" from the app list.
When the following screen appears, click the red frame to link it with your Google account.

Step 2: Copy the Template

From here, we will actually create a flow bot!

The "Trigger Interval" can remain as is.

Here are some notes on the trigger interval:
※ You can select the trigger interval from 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
※ Please note that the shortest trigger interval varies depending on the plan.

Select the "Channel ID" from the options.
The trigger will activate when a message is posted to the specified Slack channel.

Step 4: Set Up Branching

Here, you will set specific conditions from the messages posted on Slack and configure branching.

Specify the branching conditions.
※ Branch is available with a paid plan. You can also try paid plan actions during the trial period.

The "Title" and "Branch Target Values" can remain as is.
Refer to the following screen for a setup image.

Enter the "Branch Condition" based on the following setup example.

From the posted message, set conditions or words you want to branch from. If this branch condition is included, set it to automatically create a Google Meet.
Recommended words include "create meeting," "business talk," or "discussion."

Step 5: Set Up Meeting Space Creation

The following screen shows that branching is done according to the branching conditions.
Next, click on "Create Meeting Space."

When the following screen appears, check the linked account and proceed to the next step.
