How to integrate Webflow with Salesforce to add submissions from Webflow forms to Salesforce

How to Create a Webflow and Salesforce Integration Flow

Let's set up the integration of Webflow and Salesforce and automate the workflow.

We will introduce the procedure for creating a workflow to "add to Salesforce when a Webflow form is submitted" using a template.

Please note that the integration settings with Salesforce are available with the Team Plan or Success Plan. A two-week free trial is also available.

Before You Start

1. Please create a form for responses in Webflow.

2. Log in to Yoom.

3. Click the "Try it out" button below to copy the template in Yoom. 

Step 1: Connect My Apps with Webflow and Salesforce

*If you have already connected the apps, please proceed to Step 2.

1. Select "My Apps" from the left menu and click "+ New Connection" on the right side of the screen.

2. From the list of new connections in My Apps, select Webflow and Salesforce respectively, and connect the apps.

Next, copy the template to My Project and create a Flowbot.
If you haven't copied it yet, please copy the Flowbot template from below.

1. Hover over the banner and click "View Details"
2. Click "Try this template" on the page you navigated to
3. Register for Yoom
※ If you have already registered, the login screen will be displayed, so please log in.

Step 2: Setting up a trigger to activate when a Webflow form is submitted

1. Open the copied template.
 ※ You can change it to any title from the red frame in the image below.

2. Click the Flowbot's "App Trigger: When Form is Submitted".

3. Select the linked account and action.
 Change the title if necessary and click "Next".

4. Set up the API connection for the app trigger.
 Select the site ID from the candidates and click "Test".

5. If the test is successful, click "Next".

6. Enter test values in the Webflow form and submit, then click "Test".

7. If the test is successful, refer to this article to add the output items you want to sync to Salesforce.

8. Click "Save".

Step 3: Setting up an action to add a record to Salesforce

1. Click the Flowbot's "Operate Database: Add Record".

2. Integrate the database.
 ・Title: Can be changed if necessary.
 ・Database Integration: Enter/select any value.
 ※ The image below is an example of input.

 ※ The image below is an example of selecting "Object API Reference Name" from the candidates. It assumes registering lead information and searches with the keyword "Lead".

3. Click "Next".

4. Configure the detailed settings for database operations.
 Utilize the output of the form responses obtained in Step 2 to set the "Values of the records to be added".
 ※ The image below shows a part of the input fields, and the referenced output is an example of the settings.

5. If the test is successful, click "Save".

Finally, switch the trigger of the saved flow to "ON" to activate it.
