🔧 What You’ll Need
A free Yoom account
Access to ChatGPT and WordPress
If you don’t have a Yoom account yet, register now from thisregistration form!
⚠️ Note: To run ChatGPT (OpenAI) actions, you’ll need a paid OpenAI API plan. Make sure you have your payment set up ready for smoother transactions when the API usage fees are incurred. For more details, visitOpenAI API Pricing.
Step 1: Connect WordPress and ChatGPT in Yoom
Let’s start with registering WordPress and ChatGPT in Yoom.
After logging into Yoom, go to "My Apps" from the left side menu, and click the "+ Add" button.
Connect WordPress
Search for WordPress and select it. Then fill out the required information. Account Name
Use a name that's easy to recognize, such as your company name or the person responsible for the account.
Domain
Enter the full URL of your WordPress site. For example, if your WordPress site URL is https://yoom.jp/wordpress/, enter https://yoom.jp/wordpress.
Ensure the URL starts with "https://" for security reasons.
Username
Enter your username for your WordPress account.
Password
Enter your password for your WordPress account.
After filling out all the fields, click “Add”.
Connect ChatGPT
After clicking "+ Add" in "My Apps", search for ChatGPT and select it.
For the access token, checkthis guide for step-by-step instructions. Paste it into the AccessToken field, and click "Add".
Once the integration is complete, WordPress and ChatGPT will be registered in Yoom's My App.
This completes the registration of My App. Next, let's set up the trigger using a template!
Step 2: Copy the Template
Click the "Try It" button to copy the pre-built template into your project.
Click "Try this template".
Click "OK" and give the Flowbot a name to recognize.
This template will be copied to your “My Project”.
Step 3: Set Up WordPress Trigger
Let’s set up so the flow starts when a new post is published in WordPress. Click on "When post is published" in the app trigger.
Give your trigger a title (optional). Confirm the pre-configured settings are correct, then click “Next”.
Set your trigger interval (how often you want Yoom to check WordPress for new updates). It can be set to 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes. We recommend setting the trigger to the shortest activation interval available for your plan.
⚠️ Note: The trigger interval varies depending on your Yoom plan. Be sure to check your current plan’s limit.
Once you have completed the input, publish a test article and click "Test." If the WordPress information is correctly reflected in the “retrieved value”, the test is successful.
📚 Reference: For more details on retrieved values and how to set it up, see the guide here.
Click "Save" at the bottom, and let’s proceed to the next step!
Step 4: Generate Text with ChatGPT
Next, let’s set up an action for ChatGPT. Click "Generate Text".
Set the action title (optionally). Confirm the setting, and click “Next”.
Select the text you want to summarize.
It’s recommended to use the retrieved value from the previous step. By doing so, you can reference the information obtained from WordPress.
There are other small settings that you can set up.
Role: Set the role of the entity (default: 'user').
Temperature: Set a value between 0 and 2. A higher value (e.g., 0.8) generates more creative and varied responses, while a lower value (e.g., 0.3) produces more focused and consistent outputs. It can be left blank.
Maximum token count: A token is a unit of text (such as words or punctuation) that indicates the amount of text the model can process at once. It can be left blank.
Model ID: Select the model to be used for generating texts (default, 'gpt-4o'). Different models may affect the quality and style of the output.
Once the input is complete, click "Test".
If the test is successful, click “Save”.
Step 5: Update Posts in WordPress
Finally, let’s set up an action to update posts in WordPress. Click "Update Post."
Confirm the setting, and click “Next”.
Follow the instructions in the red frame to configure the WordPress plugin settings.
Post ID: Specify the unique Post ID of the post you want to update.
Slug: Select from retrieved value
Status: Select from dropdown
Password: Set a password
Scroll down and use the retrieved value to input the title and content. By including the "Response Content" obtained in Step 4, you can automatically reflect the ChatGPT-generated response in WordPress!
The following fields are optional. Enter the required information if needed. Once you’ve completed the input, click “Test”.
If no error occurs, click “Save”.
Step 6: Activate the Flowbot
Toggle the "Trigger On" button to activate your flow!
Check if the Flowbot you set up is working properly.
That's it! Your Flowbot is ready 😊
