s.kinjo-
"It's such a hassle to manually save Zoom recording data every time..." Have you ever thought that? Every time a meeting ends, you have to repeatedly download and upload the recording files, delaying other important tasks... The solution to this problem is the automatic integration of Zoom and Dropbox!
By creating a system where recording data is automatically saved to Dropbox as soon as a Zoom meeting ends, you can reduce manual work and expect smoother data management. You won't need to spend time searching, wondering "Where did I save it?" anymore. This article introduces a method for automatically integrating Zoom and Dropbox that anyone can easily do without programming!
For those who want to try it as soon as possible
By using Yoom, you can easily integrate Zoom and Dropbox without any code. Yoom provides templates for integrating Zoom and Dropbox in advance, so you can achieve integration immediately just by registering, even without API knowledge.
What You Can Do by Integrating Zoom and Dropbox
By integrating the APIs of Zoom and Dropbox, you can automatically transfer Zoom recording data to Dropbox! For example, you can automatically perform data transfers like the one below without human intervention.
Automatically Save Recording Data to Dropbox When a Zoom Meeting Ends
After a Zoom meeting ends, the recording data is automatically saved to Dropbox, eliminating the need for manual transfer. By automatically saving the recording data, you can efficiently share information with your team members.
Let's Create a Zoom and Dropbox Integration Flow
Now, let's actually create a flow that integrates Zoom and Dropbox! This time, we will proceed with the integration of Zoom and Dropbox using Yoom without any code, so if you do not have a Yoom account yet, please issue an account from this registration form.
[What is Yoom]
This time, we will create a flow bot that "automatically saves recording data to Dropbox when a Zoom meeting ends"! The creation process is broadly divided into the following steps.
Integrate Zoom and Dropbox with My Apps
Copy the template
Set the Zoom trigger and Dropbox action
Set the trigger to ON and complete the preparation for flow operation
Step 1: Register Zoom and Dropbox as My Apps
1. Please register Zoom and Dropbox as My Apps to connect them to Yoom. Registering as My Apps in advance will allow you to proceed with automation settings smoothly.
First, let's register Zoom as My App. Click "My Apps" → "Add" on the left side of the Yoom screen. Find Zoom from the app list or use the search function to search for it.
2. Select Zoom from the app list in My Apps and log in.
※Note When registering Zoom, you will need the values for Client ID and Client secret. For information on how to obtain each value, please refer to this article.
3. Next, register Dropbox as My App. Click Dropbox from the new connection list in Yoom and sign in, just like in (1). Once each is registered in Yoom's My Apps, the integration is complete!
Step 2: Copy the Template
1. To set up automation, click "Try it" on the banner below.
2. Read the following screen display and click "OK".
Step 3: Set Zoom Trigger Action
1. Now, let's start setting up the flow! First, click the red frame below.
2. The following screen will be displayed, so check the settings and press "Next".
"Title" → Can be freely changed
"App" → Zoom (OAuth)
"Account information connected to Zoom (OAuth)" → Check for any discrepancies in the account
"Trigger Action" → When a meeting ends
3. Set the trigger interval from the dropdown according to your needs. ※ The shortest interval varies depending on your plan.
4. Set the desired "email address".
5. After setting, perform a "test"! Scroll down to see retrieved value like the one below. This will be used in later settings, so check the data. Once confirmed, click "Save".
Step 4: Set to Obtain Meeting Recording Information
4. After input, click "Test" → "Test Successful" → "Save"!
Step 5: Set to Download Recording Files
1. Next, click "Download Meeting Recording File".
2. The following screen will be displayed, so check the settings and press "Next".
"Title" → Can be freely changed
"App" → Zoom (OAuth)
"Linked Account" → Check for any discrepancies in the account
"Action" → Download meeting recording file
3. Select "Download URL" from the retrieved value.
4. After input, click "Test" → "Test Successful" → "Save"!
Step 6: Set to Upload Files to Dropbox
1. Next, click "Upload File".
2. The following screen will be displayed, so check the settings and press "Next".
"Title" → Can be freely changed
"App" → Dropbox
"Linked Account" → Check for any discrepancies in the account
"Action" → Upload file
3. Set the target "folder path" and "file name".
"Folder path" → Refer to the notes outside the frame for settings
"File name" → Select from the retrieved value or enter directly
4. Check the "file attachment method".
"File attachment method" → Use retrieved value/ Downloaded file
5. After input, click "Test" → "Test Successful" → "Save"!
Step 7: Set Trigger to ON and Complete Flow Operation Preparation
Finally, click "Set Trigger to ON" to complete the automation settings. Check if the flow bot is operating correctly.
Thank you for your hard work on the setup!
Other Automation Examples Using Zoom and Dropbox APIs
By leveraging the APIs of Zoom and Slack, various tasks can be automated. If you find something interesting, please feel free to try it out!
Zoom Automation Examples
By integrating with Zoom, it is possible to automatically create meeting URLs and send them to meeting participants via email, or to retrieve participant information from Zoom meetings into Yoom's database via API.
Examples of Dropbox Automation
By integrating with Dropbox, you can store files received via email into Dropbox or automatically create folders in Dropbox.
Conclusion
By automatically saving Zoom meeting recordings to Dropbox, you can reduce manual workload and improve operational efficiency. Additionally, by eliminating unnecessary tasks, you may be able to focus more on important work.
Being freed from the repetitive download and upload tasks should enable smooth sharing of recording data within your team. <span class="mark-yellow">With Yoom, this integration can be easily set up without any programming knowledge!</span> Be sure to integrate Zoom and Dropbox to achieve efficient data management!

We will deliver articles on how to smoothly proceed with a wide range of tasks using Yoom.
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
