[No Code Solution] How to Automatically Integrate Zoom Data into Salesforce
s.ougitani
Are you spending too much time manually entering participant information from Zoom into Salesforce?
Even if you want to integrate Zoom with Salesforce, you might feel that "the setup seems difficult" or "I might need an engineer's help," which can make it hard to take the first step.
In such cases, we recommend using the no-code tool Yoom for data integration! <span class="mark-yellow">With Yoom, you can easily build a flow to automatically register Zoom webinar participant information into Salesforce without any specialized knowledge.</span>
We also introduce templates that can be used in sales and marketing, so if you want to "increase work efficiency" or "prevent input errors," please read to the end.
For those who want to try it as soon as possible
By using Yoom, you can easily integrate Zoom and Salesforce without any code. Yoom provides templates for integrating Zoom and Salesforce in advance, so you can achieve integration immediately just by registering, even without API knowledge.
What You Can Do by Integrating Zoom and Salesforce
By integrating the APIs of Zoom and Salesforce, you can automatically link Zoom data to Salesforce! For example, you can automatically perform data integration like the following without manual intervention.
Register Participant Information as Leads in Salesforce When a Zoom Webinar Ends
If you are manually adding Zoom webinar participant information to Salesforce, try this template. <span class="mark-yellow">Especially when a large number of participants are expected, you can significantly reduce administrative tasks and save a lot of time.</span>
Register participant information as leads in Salesforce and send follow-up emails after the Zoom webinar ends
By automatically sending template emails, it is possible to reduce errors such as missed sends. If you can notify via email immediately after the webinar ends, it seems likely to enhance the trust from customers.
Check Zoom webinar participants and register unregistered information as leads in Salesforce
Only information not registered as leads in Salesforce can be added, allowing for highly accurate lead information management.
Let's Create a Zoom and Salesforce Integration Flow
Let's dive right in and create a flow that integrates Zoom and Salesforce! This time, we'll use Yoom to proceed with the integration of Zoom and Salesforce without any coding. If you don't have a Yoom account yet, you can register here to create an account.
[What is Yoom]
<span class="mark-yellow">This time, we will create a flow bot that "registers participant information as leads in Salesforce when a Zoom webinar ends."</span> The creation process is broadly divided into the following steps.
Register Zoom and Salesforce as My Apps
Copy the template
Set up Zoom triggers and Salesforce actions
Set the trigger to ON and complete the flow operation preparation
Step 1: Register My Apps with Zoom and Salesforce
Before setting up the flow bot, let's integrate Yoom with each app.
Steps to Register My Apps with Zoom
Once logged into Yoom, select My Apps and click on Add.
Use the search bar to find and select Zoom (OAuth) from the list of apps.
Enter the Client ID and Client Secret. For detailed instructions on registering My Apps with Zoom, please check here.
You have now registered My Apps with Zoom.
Steps to Register My Apps with Salesforce
Note: Salesforce is an app available with some paid plans. For free and mini plans, operations and data connections set in the flow bot will result in errors. Paid plans offer a 2-week free trial, during which you can use restricted apps.
Before integrating with Yoom, some settings are required on the Salesforce side. Check the method for registering My Apps with Salesforce here.
Then, as before, click on My Apps → Add.
Use the search bar to find and select Salesforce from the list of apps.
Enter your email address and password to log in. After logging in, click "Allow" on the access confirmation screen to complete the registration.
You have now registered My Apps with Salesforce.
Step 2: Copy the Template
Next, let's copy a template from Yoom! While it's possible to create a flow bot from scratch in Yoom, we introduce a method using templates for easier setup. Click on the banner below.
Let's select "Try this template".
Please select "OK".
Now you have copied the template. The copied template is saved in My Projects.
Step 3: Set up the Zoom trigger
Once the preparations are complete, let's set up the flowbot! Click on "After meeting ends" in the copied template.
Select the linked account and action
The title is entered when copied, but you can change it. Check the account information connected to Zoom. Ensure that the trigger action "When a meeting ends" is selected, and click Next.
API connection settings for the app triggers
Set the trigger interval to 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes. The shortest interval you can set depends on your plan, so make sure to check that. The trigger interval is the time to check whether the trigger action (when the meeting ends) is executed at the set time. It is generally recommended to set it to the shortest interval for your plan.
Enter your email address by checking the annotations. Once set, execute the Zoom trigger action (when a meeting ends), and click Test.
If the test is successful, you can obtain Zoom meeting information as retrieved value. (In practice, detailed values such as IDs will be reflected in the image below.) Once done, save it.
Step 4: Set up Zoom actions
Next, click on "Get list of webinar registrants".
Select the linked account and action
The title can be changed! Check that the linked account and the action "Get webinar registrants" is selected, and click Next.
API connection settings
By using the retrieved value from the Zoom trigger (After meeting ends), you can save the trouble of manually setting values each time. If you enter without using the retrieved value, you will repeatedly obtain registrant information for the same webinar, so be sure to use the retrieved value!
For more information on retrieved value, refer to here.
Set the webinar ID from the retrieved value. After setting, click Test.
Once you have obtained the Zoom webinar registrant information as retrieved value, save it.
Step 5: Set up command operations
▼Notes ・To use the "Repeat process" operation, you need a Team Plan or Success Plan. It will result in an error with the Free Plan or Mini Plan, so please be careful. ・Paid plans come with a 2-week free trial, and features that are restricted can be used during the trial period.
This item is set when the template is copied, but make sure there are no errors in the content. Then click on "Command Operation".
Specify the repetition target
By setting this, you can repeatedly obtain information registered in the webinar. Select the webinar information you want to add to the Salesforce record here.
Select "Get list of webinar registrants" for the operation, and select the retrieved value from the dropdown.
You can set up to 15 items in total, so if you want to add more items, you can increase them from "Add Value". Once set, save it.
Step 6: Set up Salesforce actions
This is the final setting item! Click on "Operate on Database".
Database integration
The title can be changed. Check that the account information linked with Salesforce and the action is "Add Record".
Check the annotations for the My Domain URL and enter it.
Select the object API name from the options for the object to add records to. After setting, click Next.
Detailed settings for database operations
Select the values for the new records from the retrieved value of the command operation.
Once entered, execute the test. If you can add information to the Salesforce record, save it, turn on the trigger, and check the operation.
Now the flowbot setup is complete!
If you want to link Salesforce data to Zoom
This time, we introduced how to link data from Zoom to Salesforce, but you can also link data from Salesforce to Zoom! Please also use the template below.
Create a meeting in Zoom and notify by email when a lead is registered in Salesforce
You can automate the process of creating meetings and notifying information by email, saving you time! Recommended for sales teams looking to reduce administrative tasks.
Automatically Schedule a Zoom Meeting When a Salesforce Opportunity Reaches a Specific Stage
By automatically creating meetings based on Salesforce opportunity stage information, you can expect to prevent mistakes and omissions. Utilize this template to prevent human error and enhance trust from your customers.
Other Automation Examples Using Zoom and Salesforce APIs
In addition to integration with Salesforce, you can automate various tasks by utilizing Zoom's API. If any of these pique your interest, please feel free to give them a try!
Convenient Automation Examples Using Zoom
You can automatically summarize meeting content and notify chat tools of recording URLs. It is also possible to create meetings in Zoom based on information received in forms, making it a recommended option for those who want to automate the meeting setup flow.
Convenient Automation Examples Using Salesforce
You can notify chat tools with Salesforce report information or automatically send emails from lead information. Business card data can be automatically added to Salesforce, which seems to save the effort of manual entry.
Conclusion
For those who feel that integrating Zoom and Salesforce seems difficult, Yoom provides a clear solution. Even without programming knowledge, you can easily get started using templates, which is a great advantage.

After being in charge of sales and CA at a human resources company for about 5 years, I have been involved in jobs such as creating job advertisements and scouting sentences at companies that hire engineers.
I'm fascinated by Yoom's revolutionary service of “automating office work.”
I would like to write so that I can send out information that can be useful to everyone, even a little bit.
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
