Use OCR to extract text from files uploaded to Dropbox and publish it to Medium

With this workflow, simply upload a file to Dropbox. OCR automatically extracts the content and publishes it to Medium.

■Workflow

1. First, connect Dropbox and Medium to Yoom.
2. Next, select Dropbox as the trigger and set the action to “When a file is created or updated in a specific folder.”
3. Then, set the Dropbox “Download a file” action as an operation.
4. Next, select the OCR feature as an operation and specify the downloaded file in the “Read any image or PDF” action.
5. Finally, set the Medium “Create Post” action as an operation and publish the extracted text from the OCR feature in the body of the post.

※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes tasks within the workflow after the trigger starts.

■Customization Options

• For the Dropbox file download action, select the target file ID from the values obtained by the trigger.
• When using the OCR feature to read images or PDFs, you can choose which items to extract.

■Notes

• Connect both Medium and Dropbox to Yoom.
• The AI operation for OCR or audio transcription is available only on the Team and Success Plans.
