With this workflow, simply upload a file to Box, and the OCR feature will automatically extract the text and post it to Medium, helping you resolve these challenges smoothly.

■Flowbot steps

First, connect Box and Medium to Yoom.
Next, select Box as the trigger, set the “When a file is uploaded to a folder” action, and specify the target folder.
Then, set the “Download a file” action for Box as an operation and specify the file detected by the trigger.
Next, select the OCR feature as an operation and process the downloaded file with the “Read any image or PDF” action.
Finally, set Medium’s “Create Post” action as an operation and publish the post containing the text extracted by the OCR feature.

※“Trigger”: An action that starts a flow. “Operation”: An action that performs processing within a flow after the trigger starts.

■Customization options for this workflow

In Medium’s “Create Post” operation, you can configure the post body to include the text read by the OCR feature in the previous operation as a variable.

■Notes

Connect both Medium and Box to Yoom.
AI operations for OCR and audio transcription are available only on the Team and Success plans. On the Free and Mini plans, the configured Flowbot operations will result in an error.
Paid plans, such as the Team and Success plans, include a 2-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and AI features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
The maximum downloadable file size is 300 MB. Depending on the app specifications, the limit may be lower than 300 MB.

OCR may not be able to read data containing more than 6,500 characters or data with very small text.
