Add a record to Airtable when a new row matching specific conditions is added in Baserow

■Overview
Do you manage data using both Baserow and Airtable, but find it time-consuming to manually transfer information between the two tools, leading to missed updates?
In particular, transferring only the data that meets specific conditions requires additional verification and can lead to human error.
With this workflow, you can automate the creation of Airtable records whenever a new row that meets specific conditions is added to Baserow, helping you seamlessly resolve data integration challenges.
■Who should use this template
- Anyone who uses both Baserow and Airtable to manage project or customer information
- Anyone who spends significant time transferring data between the two tools and wants to improve operational efficiency
- Anyone who wants to eliminate manual input errors and missed updates while maintaining data consistency
■Benefits of using this template
- When data is added to Baserow, a record is automatically created in Airtable based on the conditions you set, reducing the time previously spent on manual work
- By eliminating manual data transfers, you can reduce the risk of human errors such as incorrect entries and missing fields, helping maintain data accuracy
■Flow bot process
- First, connect Baserow and Airtable to Yoom
- Next, select Baserow as the trigger and set the “New Row” action
- Then, configure the branching feature in the operation so that the workflow proceeds only when specific conditions are met
- Finally, set Airtable’s “Create a record” action in the operation to create a record based on the information retrieved from Baserow
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customizing this workflow
- When configuring the branching feature, set the conditions for the Baserow rows whose records you want to add to Airtable. For example, you can set a condition such as “when the status changes to completed.”
- When creating a record in Airtable, specify which information to add to which table. You need to map the information in each Baserow column to the corresponding fields in Airtable.
■Notes
- Connect both Baserow and Airtable to Yoom.
- You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
- Please note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
- For information on how to retrieve data from Baserow, see the following:
Learn how to retrieve data from Baserow - The branching feature is an operation available on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, the configured flow bot operation will result in an error.
- Paid plans, including the Mini plan, offer a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to restrictions.
