Step 1: Register Brushup and Asana as My Apps

Please register Brushup and Asana as My Apps to connect them to Yoom.
Once you complete the My Apps registration, setting up automation becomes easier.

Register Brushup as My App.
Click "My Apps" → "New Connection" on the left side of the Yoom screen.
A list of apps will be displayed, so look for BrushUp or search for it by "App Name".

The following screen will be displayed, so check the explanation and set the "Account Name" and "Access Token".

Next, register Asana as My App.
Select Asana in the same way as before.
When the following screen is displayed, please log in to Asana.

Brushup and Asana will be displayed in the My Apps section.

Step 2: Set a trigger to activate when a new item is created in Brushup

To start setting up automation, click "Try it" on the banner below.

Read the following screen display and click "OK".

The following screen will be displayed, so check the "Title" and "Description".
If you want to make changes, you can do so from the following page.
To set up from Brushup, click "When a new item is registered or updated".

When the following screen is displayed, check the settings.

  • "Account information linked with Brushup" → Confirm if correct
  • "Trigger action" → When a new item is registered or updated

When the following screen is displayed, make the settings.

  • "Trigger interval" → Select from 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes
    ※ The trigger interval varies depending on the plan, so please be careful.
  • "Project ID" → Check the description and set it

After setting, click "Test" → "Test successful" → "Save".

Step 3: Set up an action to add a task in Asana

Next, to set up Asana, click "Add Task".
The following screen will be displayed, so check the settings.

  • "Title" → Can be freely changed
  • "Account information linked with Asana" → Confirm if correct
  • "Action" → Add task

When the following screen is displayed, use Brushup to set the "Task Name".
Click the arrow in the red frame to display the Brushup output, and select "Item Name".

Scroll down, check the description, and set the "Project ID" and "Section ID".
If there are other items you want to set, do so.
After setting, click "Test" → "Test successful" → "Save".

Step 4: Verify the automation between Brushup and Asana

Finally, click "Turn on Trigger" to complete the automation setup.
Check if the flowbot is running.
