Google Sheets, which is useful for corporate data management and business efficiency, is active in many business scenes. By integrating this with Microsoft Teams, information sharing within the team will become even smoother. In this article, we will not only discuss the benefits of integrating Google Sheets and Microsoft Teams but also provide a detailed explanation with images on how to set up automation using Yoom, which allows you to easily integrate apps without any coding!
Please read to the end.
Benefits of Integrating Google Sheets and Microsoft Teams
Here, we will introduce two benefits of integrating Google Sheets and Microsoft Teams.
Benefit 1: Real-time Information Sharing
By setting up automatic notifications to Microsoft Teams when a row is added in Google Sheets, you can communicate information to the entire team in real-time. Important updates can be shared immediately, allowing the entire team to act based on the latest information. The more team members there are, the more you will appreciate the value of these real-time notifications. Especially when working remotely or with members in different time zones, you can prevent mistakes and misunderstandings due to information delays, making the decision-making process smoother.
Benefit 2: Enhanced Backup and Recovery
When sending notifications to Microsoft Teams, you can also take backups by setting up the content creatively. Since the history remains in Microsoft Teams chats or channels, even if the spreadsheet data is lost for some reason, you can check the lost data by referring to the notification history. Furthermore, this integration allows you to easily track when the content of the added row was entered, which will be useful for troubleshooting or audits. This enhancement in backup and recovery reduces the risk of data loss.

How to Create an Integration Flow for Google Sheets and Microsoft Teams
From here, we will introduce the flow of app integration using Yoom with images!
① My App Integration
First, log in to Yoom and select "My Apps" from the left menu. After the screen transitions, please press "+ New Connection".
Select the app you want to integrate, and by logging in/signing in according to the screen, the integration will be completed. Once registration is complete, an icon will be displayed in the list of My Apps.
You can easily automate using the above template. First, open My Projects in Yoom and press "+ New Connection".
Next, press "Create from Template Gallery".
In the search box at the top right, enter and search for the template title (Notify Microsoft Teams when a row is added in Google Sheets). Select "Create Template" in blue text on the right side of the displayed template.

There is a limit to the range of tables that can be set for each plan.
If there are no issues with the test results, scroll to the bottom of the screen and press "Save". Then, return to the initial integration flow screen and confirm that the error mark next to "When a row is added" has disappeared. Summary
Up to this point, we have provided a detailed explanation with images on how to integrate Google Sheets with Microsoft Teams. By setting up automatic notifications to be sent to Microsoft Teams whenever a new row is added to Google Sheets, you can share information with the entire team in real-time, enabling smooth decision-making. Additionally, by customizing the notification content, the notifications themselves can function as a backup of the data, reducing the risk of data loss, which is a great advantage. Even without programming knowledge, you can easily automate integration using Yoom, so please refer to this article and try integrating Google Sheets with Microsoft Teams!
Yoom can also integrate with various other apps, so by exploring the template list below, you might find integration methods that are beneficial for your work.
I worked as an SV in the BPO division of a listed company for 4 years and experienced editing and writing media articles for about 3 and a half years.
I had the opportunity to use a wide variety of apps due to my job being in charge of outsourced work from other companies.
I still remember getting to know Yoom when I was worried about how to improve work efficiency, and I was moved by being able to easily link apps with each other to create an automated flow!
I would be happy if I could help improve everyone's work efficiency by making use of my experience working on media articles and conveying the appeal of Yoom in an easy-to-understand manner.
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
