How to Create a Workflow for Integrating freee HR and Labor with Slack

Trigger Settings for freee HR

Click on "My Projects" on the left side of the screen and then click on "Notify Slack when an employee is registered in freee HR". Press edit on the top right.

Click on "When an employee is registered" under the freee HR icon.
Since the necessary fields are pre-filled using the template, simply click Next!

You will be taken to the App Trigger Webhook Event Reception Settings page.

Once the webhook setup is complete, press Test at the bottom of the screen. If "Test Successful" is displayed in blue, don't forget to save and proceed to the next setting.

Settings for freee HR

Click on "Get Employee Information" under the freee HR icon.
Again, since the necessary fields are pre-filled using the template, it's very convenient!

On the next page, decide what kind of employee information to retrieve and notify Slack.
However, since this setting is also pre-filled, you only need to select the office ID.

When you click inside the box for the office ID, a list will be displayed as shown in the image above.
Since it is linked with the freee HR account you connected with My Apps earlier, just select it! The benefits of My Apps integration and templates are huge!

Press Test at the bottom of the screen, and if "Test Successful" is displayed in blue, proceed to the next step.

Slack Settings

Click on "Notify Slack" under the Slack icon.
Since the necessary fields are pre-filled using the template for this page as well, click Next!

This is the final setting! Let's input the content to notify Slack.

First, input the channel ID to post to. Just like the office ID in freee HR, click inside the box to display a list, and select the desired channel.
The message content can remain as the default, but I tweaked it a bit to look like this.

This setting is up to your preference, so feel free to change it to your liking.

Press Test, and if "Test Successful" is displayed in blue, the integration between freee HR and Slack is complete. Well done!
