When you receive a lot of emails every day, it can be quite a hassle to save files to Dropbox each time.
Moreover, many people might have experienced the struggle of missing a file save or saving a file in the wrong folder, making it difficult to find later.

In this article, we will introduce a method to automatically save files received in Gmail to Dropbox!

By using no-code tools, you can easily set up automation between Gmail and Dropbox.
You can start using it right away, so be sure to give it a try!

Recommended for

  • Those who want to automatically upload files attached to Gmail to Dropbox
  • Those who want to integrate Gmail and Dropbox to facilitate smooth file sharing within the team
  • Those who want to prevent the loss of attachments and ensure proper document storage

For those who want to try it immediately

In this article, we will introduce the integration method using the no-code tool "Yoom".

No complicated settings or operations are required, and even non-engineers can easily achieve it.

You can start right away using the template below, so please give it a try!

Many people use Airtable as an information management tool.
It's a convenient service that's easy to use because it offers rich database functions and can be operated in a tabular format.
However, you might find it burdensome to manually input information as it is usually required.
To solve this issue, I've created a flow to automatically add order information from Webflow to Airtable!
This is recommended for those who run an e-commerce site on Webflow and want to centrally manage order information in Airtable.
If you're looking to "reduce the hassle of data entry" or "streamline your work," try automatic integration with Yoom as referenced in this article.
You can easily integrate without any programming.

Benefits of Integrating Webflow and Airtable

Benefit 1. Reducing Workload

Managing order information is a very important issue when running an e-commerce site, so you want to reduce the effort involved as much as possible.
By using the integration in this article, order information received in Webflow is automatically added to Airtable, reducing the hassle of data entry.
It will also contribute to reducing the risk of human error.
When entering data manually, there is a risk of entering incorrect amounts or making typographical errors, which can lead to human errors.
If there are deficiencies in the data, it could lead to company losses.
By automating, let's minimize such risks and strive for accurate data management!

Benefit 2. Smoother Communication

By integrating Webflow and Airtable, you can centrally manage order information in one app.
This allows you to quickly grasp the necessary information as you can refer to all order information just by accessing Airtable.
It also helps avoid discrepancies in understanding within the team.
When order information is automatically reflected, everyone on the team can check the information from Airtable, reducing the amount of information known only to specific individuals.
As a result, discrepancies in understanding are less likely to occur, leading to smoother communication.

Integration Flow of Webflow and Airtable

Now, let's introduce how to actually integrate Webflow and Airtable.
The flow introduced this time is "Add to Airtable when an order occurs in Webflow."
The integration steps are as follows.

  1. Set up an app trigger in Webflow
  2. Create a record in Airtable

Yoom provides the above two steps as a template.
You can create a flow bot more easily than creating from scratch, so first click the "Try it" button on the banner below to copy the template!
Once the copy is complete, you can operate it from "My Projects" in the sidebar.

Integration of My App with Webflow and Airtable

After copying the template, register Webflow and Airtable in Yoom's My App as a preliminary step.
If you have already registered, please proceed to "Step 1. Setting the App Trigger".

<Procedure>

1. After logging into Yoom, click "My App" → "+ New Connection" in order

2. Search for the app name and enter the necessary information

If Webflow and Airtable are displayed in the My App list, you are ready!
Let's proceed to the detailed settings right away!
If you haven't copied it yet, please copy the Flowbot template from below.

1. Hover over the banner and click "View Details"
2. Click "Try this template" on the page you navigated to
3. Register for Yoom
※ If you have already registered, the login screen will be displayed, so please log in.

Step 1. Set up the app trigger

First, select the template you just copied from "My Projects" in the sidebar.

Next, click on the app trigger "When a new order is placed".

On the first page, the pre-linked account information will be displayed, so please check it, and if there are no issues, click "Next".

On the next page, set up the connection to Webflow and the API.
Select the site ID from the candidates, and if there are no errors in the "Test", click "Next".

On the next page, send a Webhook event or execute the trigger event, and click "Test".

If there are no issues up to this point, click "Save" to complete the trigger setup.

Step 2. Create a record

Next, click "Create Record".

On the first page, as in Step 1, the account information will be displayed, so if there are no issues, click "Next".

On the second page, set up the creation of the record.
Enter "Base ID", "Table ID (or name)", and "Field Information".
For the field information values, input the information output from Webflow.

In the image above, the setting is to register the order ID, but if you want to register other values, select the "Add Field Information" button to create a new input box.

Click "Test" and if no errors appear, click "Save".

If a popup like the one below is displayed, all settings are complete.

Other Automation Examples Using Webflow and Airtable

Yoom offers numerous automation examples utilizing Webflow and Airtable.
It is possible to integrate with various apps, so please refer to the following representative examples.

1. Add to Airtable When a Webflow Form is Submitted

The automation introduced this time was a method to automatically add order information, but this integration is a flow to automatically add form information.
It is recommended for those who want to centrally manage the information of potential customers acquired through inquiries or document requests in Airtable.

2. Add orders to Notion when they occur in Webflow

If you prefer to manage order information in Notion instead of Airtable, please refer to this template. For those using both Airtable and Notion, by combining this integration, order information will be automatically added to both applications.

3. When the specified schedule is reached, search for Airtable records and send an email via Gmail

By integrating Gmail with Airtable, it is also possible to automate the sending of emails.
For those who manually create and send emails each time, this automation will likely reduce the workload.

Summary

The above was the procedure for integrating Webflow with Airtable!
As you can see, Yoom can be used without programming knowledge, making it easy to set up the integration.
When Webflow order information is automatically added to Airtable, it not only reduces the burden of manual work but also helps mitigate the risk of human error.
This can lead to accurate data management and potentially prevent company losses due to data discrepancies.
Additionally, speedy information sharing can facilitate smoother communication.

I've been working for SaaS companies as a customer success since I was a student. I was working using multiple cloud services, and there were times when I thought it would be convenient if services could be linked more easily with each other. Since apps can be linked without code with Yoom, anyone can easily set it up. I would like to be able to convey the appeal of Yoom in an easy-to-understand manner and contribute to improving everyone's work efficiency!
