■Overview
Manually converting CDR files created in CorelDRAW to PDF every time can be time-consuming. With this workflow, when a CDR file is uploaded to a specific Dropbox folder, the RPA feature automatically converts it to PDF and saves it in a designated folder. Automating this conversion process streamlines routine file conversion tasks and creates an environment where you can focus on the core work that matters most.
■Who should use this template
- Anyone who regularly handles CorelDRAW CDR files and finds converting them to PDF time-consuming
- Teams looking to automate and standardize file conversion processes
- Anyone managing files in Dropbox and looking to streamline the entire file conversion process
■Benefits of using this template
- Save time by eliminating the need to manually convert files each time—the process is completed simply by uploading a file
- Reduce the risk of human error by preventing file selection mistakes and incorrect conversion settings, while consistently generating high-quality PDFs
■Flow bot steps
- First, connect Dropbox to Yoom
- Next, select Dropbox as the trigger and set it to “When a file is created or updated in a specific folder”
- Then, configure Dropbox’s “Download a file” action in the operation and download the CDR file detected by the trigger
- Next, configure the RPA feature’s “Operate the browser” action in the operation and record the steps for converting the CDR file to PDF
- Finally, configure Dropbox’s “Upload a file” action in the operation and save the converted PDF file in the designated folder
※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization options
- In the Dropbox trigger settings, specify the folder path where CDR files will be uploaded and the file name as needed
- In Dropbox’s file download action, make sure to correctly specify the path of the folder where the target file is uploaded
- In Dropbox’s action for uploading the converted PDF file, you can specify any destination folder path
■Important notes
- Connect Dropbox to Yoom.
- You can select a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
- Please note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
- The “Operate the browser” operation is available only on the Success Plan. On the Free, Mini, and Team Plans, flow bot operations that use this feature will result in an error.
- Paid plans, including the Success Plan, offer a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use restricted apps and operations that operate the browser.
- For instructions on configuring the “Operate the browser” operation, see below.
