Are you struggling with managing client data and file organization? If you're managing clients with Airtable, you might have found organizing files in OneDrive to be cumbersome. The solution to this problem is the integration of Airtable and OneDrive. By using Yoom, which allows for no-code app integration, a folder is automatically created in OneDrive simultaneously with the registration of a new client, making file management and team sharing smooth.
We will explain the detailed setup method and benefits!
Benefits of Integrating Airtable and OneDrive
Benefit 1: Prevent File Management Errors
When a new client is registered in Airtable, a folder is automatically created in OneDrive, making subsequent document management easier. This eliminates the need to manually create folders, avoiding file management errors and confusion. For example, a space is provided to organize necessary documents such as contracts and proposals related to new clients, which is expected to facilitate smooth operations.
For sales representatives, it is a significant advantage to be able to focus on substantial work without spending time on double-checking to prevent errors in situations where quick response is required.
Benefit 2: Smooth File Sharing Within the Team
Files automatically saved in OneDrive folders are easy to share with team members. When a sales representative or project manager adds a new client to Airtable, the related files are immediately created in OneDrive, allowing other members to access them and facilitating smooth information sharing across the team.
This eliminates the hassle of searching for files, even for companies that primarily communicate online, and is expected to improve work efficiency.

How to Create an Integration Flow Between Airtable and OneDrive
Let's integrate Airtable and OneDrive using Yoom from here. The flow this time is "Create a folder in OneDrive when a client is registered in Airtable."
Integrate Airtable and OneDrive with My Apps
Set a Trigger with Airtable Client Information Retrieval
Set Up Folder Creation in OneDrive
Preliminary preparation requires integrating Yoom with each app through My Apps, but the setup is completed in all three steps.
Start setting up by copying the template from the "Try this template" banner below!
Step 1: Connect Airtable and OneDrive with My Apps
After logging into Yoom, click "+ New Connection" from "My Apps" on the left side. When you navigate to the page, a search bar will appear. Search for each app name and proceed with the input according to the displayed content.
Once the app connection is made, it will appear in the My Apps list, so make sure to check it.
If OneDrive is also displayed, the My Apps connection is complete. Let's move on to the specific app settings!
Next, copy the template to My Projects and create a Flowbot. If you haven't copied it yet, please copy the Flowbot template from below.
1. Hover over the banner and click "View Details" 2. Click "Try This Template" on the redirected page 3. Register for Yoom * If you have already completed registration, the login screen will be displayed, so please log in.
Step 2: Set Up App Trigger in Airtable
First, click "When a record is created". On the first page, the account information that has been linked with My App is reflected.
The title can be changed to something easy to understand, but the trigger action does not need to be changed. Once you have confirmed the account information, click "Next".
On the next page, specify the trigger interval and where to retrieve the client information.
The trigger interval checks for new client information at the specified time intervals. Select according to your business needs. Note that the trigger interval may not be selectable depending on the plan, so please be careful.
If there is no "Created time" item in the specified table, the trigger will not work properly, so be sure to create it.
Once all items have been entered, perform a "Test" to obtain the output.
Once confirmed, click "Save" to complete the trigger setup.
Step 3: Set Up for Creating a Folder in OneDrive
Next, click "Create Folder". On the first page, just confirm the account information, similar to Airtable, and proceed to the next step.
On the next page, specify the location to create the folder and the folder name.
Select the Drive ID and Item ID from the options, and obtain the folder name from the output.
The file name will change according to the client name, making it easier to understand. If you want to fix certain text, enter it manually. For example, if you set it as "{{Client}} related folder", "related folder" will be fixed and reflected in the folder name.
Once all fields are filled, perform a "Test" to obtain the output, then click "Save" to complete the setup. Finally, turn on the trigger to activate the flow.
With this setup, a folder will be automatically created in OneDrive when a client is registered in Airtable.

Other Automation Examples Using Airtable and OneDrive
There are many other examples of automation using Airtable and OneDrive in Yoom, so let me introduce them.
1. Airtable can be used for employee management as well as for clients by utilizing app integration. For example, when integrated with AKASHI, employee information registered in Airtable is automatically registered in AKASHI. This seems to prevent mistakes and allow for efficient workflow.
2. By integrating OneDrive with GMO Sign, documents can be automatically stored in OneDrive once they are signed. Managing a large number of documents can be challenging, but with automatic storage, you can eliminate the worry of errors and expect to have more time to focus on your work.
Summary
By integrating Airtable and OneDrive with Yoom, the creation of new client folders is automated, allowing for efficient management of important documents. It can be easily set up with no-code, so no programming knowledge is required. This automation is expected to improve operational efficiency and increase the time available to focus on more important tasks. Register for free with Yoom and make your operations smarter today!

I have been an SEO writer for 5 years and have continued to write under the motto “easy to read” and “easy to convey.”
I want to bring the convenience of Yoom, which can be linked to apps without programming knowledge, to many people!
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
