・Integrate Channel Talk and Notion with My Apps
(1) First, connect Channel Talk to My Apps. After logging into your Yoom account, click on "My Apps" in the left column and search for Channel Talk from "New Connection".
(2) The Channel Talk app icon will appear, so click on it.
(3) You will be taken to the connection screen, where you should enter the "Account Name (optional)", "Access Token", and "Access Key". After entering the information, click [Add] to complete the connection to Channel Talk.
(4) Next, integrate the Notion app. Just like registering Channel Talk with My Apps, select Notion. On the next screen, click [Select Page].
(5) Select the page you want to link with your Yoom account and click [Allow Access].
After clicking, you will be taken to the My Apps screen of your Yoom account with the two apps added. Now, the two apps are connected to your Yoom account.
・Copy the Template
After confirming that the new connection of the target app is completed in your Yoom account, click the icon for "Try This Template" below.
The template will be copied, so click the "OK" button.
Move to the "My Projects" screen of your Yoom account and check the template content.
There are three setup flows.
In this flow, the Notion database is pre-configured as follows. When creating an automation flow, please prepare a database configured with information and data that align with your operations in advance. (The input values are dummy.)
・Channel Talk Activation Settings
(1) First, set up the Channel Talk app trigger.
From the "My Projects" on the left side of your Yoom account screen, click "【Copy】When a message is sent in Channel Talk, add the post content to Notion".
After clicking, the template content will be displayed as shown in the screen below.
(2) First, click on the first action "When a message is received in the customer chat". (3) Enter the account information to be linked and click [Next].
(4) After entering the "webhook name" and "access key", click [Test] and if there are no issues, click [Next].
(5) Send a webhook event (create a new customer chat) and click [Test]. If the Channel Talk information is successfully retrieved, click [Save].
When creating a flow, it is possible to obtain any information within the app as output at each step. As noted, "This value can be used in other operations," the output information can be referenced and utilized in subsequent steps.
・Setting to Extract Text Data Using AI
(1) Next, click on the second action "Extract data from text" to check the content.
(2) This action is already set up, so check the content and click [Next]. For the setup method of "Data Extraction (2 Tasks)" using AI, please also check this page.
※AI operations are available only in the Team Plan and Success Plan. Paid plans such as the Free Plan Team Plan and Success Plan offer a 2-week free trial.
(3) On the next screen, enter the specific text you want to extract using AI in the "Target Text". Click the input bar to reference the information obtained from the previous step as output.
(4) For "Items to Extract", specify the items you want to extract from the target text, separated by commas (,). Set it as desired according to your operations.
(5) After entering the information, click [Test] and if there are no issues, click [Save].
・Setting to Add Post Content to Notion
(1) Finally, click on the third action "Add a Record".
(2) Enter the Notion account information to be linked and the "Database ID", then click [Next]. When you click the input bar, information based on the linked account will be displayed, allowing you to select the ID you want to set in the flow.
(3) On the next screen, enter the information for the values of the records to be added. Click the input bar to reference the output obtained in the previous step. (The names of the data extracted by AI this time (labeled as 【Notion】) are dummy.)
(4) After entering the information, click [Test] and if there are no issues, click [Save]. This completes the setup.
