How to integrate DocuSign with Discord so that when a contract is signed in DocuSign, an automatic notification is sent to Discord

a.ohta

If you frequently use DocuSign for contracts, integrating it with Discord is recommended!
In most cases, such as sales or employment contracts, there are subsequent processes after the contract is signed. Therefore, you will need to hand over to the person in charge of the subsequent tasks.
By integrating DocuSign with Discord, it might be possible to smoothly proceed with these subsequent tasks.
If you want to facilitate collaborative work between teams or departments, please take a look!

Recommended for

- Companies that conduct contracts with DocuSign and use Discord as their main communication tool
- Those who want to smoothly coordinate with the team handling tasks after a contract is signed with DocuSign
- Those who want to easily share notifications and information after a contract is signed with DocuSign to improve work efficiency

Benefits and Examples of Integrating DocuSign and Discord

1. Quickly Grasp Contract Completion

With this app integration, when a contract is signed on DocuSign, a notification is automatically sent to Discord. You will be more likely to notice when a contract is signed.
This is expected to eliminate the "The contract was signed, but I didn't notice and couldn't take any action!" downtime.
Additionally, notifications are delivered in real-time. Since you can quickly grasp when a contract is signed on DocuSign, it will be easier to take swift action towards the contracting party.

2. Smooth Transition to Subsequent Processes

After a contract is signed, subsequent tasks will follow. For example, in the case of a sales contract, it might involve ordering products or checking inventory, and for an employment contract, it might involve onboarding.
To smoothly connect to these subsequent tasks, quickly informing the person in charge that the contract has been signed is key.
With this integration, since the signing of the contract is notified in real-time, it is expected to facilitate a quick transition to the next phase.

3. Eliminate Individualization in Contract Work

By automatically notifying Discord of contract data signed on DocuSign, information can be easily disseminated to the entire team. This allows members other than the person in charge to grasp the work situation. Follow-ups to the person in charge at the appropriate timing are also possible.
As a result, it becomes easier to foresee the workflow, and the entire team may find it easier to coordinate. If you can understand tasks other than those you are responsible for, smoother communication can be expected.

Other Automation Examples Using DocuSign and Discord

There are many other examples of automation using DocuSign in Yoom, so here are a few.

1. Notify Slack When a Contract is Completed with DocuSign

This is an automated version of the same flow, but with the notification destination changed to Slack. Try integrating with the communication tool you are familiar with.

2. Once the envelope (completion) is finished with DocuSign, store the file in Google Drive

You can automatically store the contracts completed with DocuSign in Google Drive. By automating even minor actions, you may be able to reduce your workload, so why not consider incorporating it?

3. Create and send contracts with DocuSign using Notion database information

If you manage and edit client data in Notion, this integration is also recommended. Automate the sending of contracts to simplify administrative tasks.

Summary

With the integration of DocuSign and Discord, you can be informed in real-time when a contract is signed. This is expected to facilitate smoother coordination for subsequent tasks.
Additionally, even if you are not responsible for a particular contract, receiving notifications on Discord makes it easier to track the progress of work. This may make it easier to follow up with team members.
Yoom allows for easy automation implementation without programming. It is easy to adopt even for those who have previously given up on integration, so please take this opportunity to try it out.

After working as a general store manager, I started working from home as an SEO writer. Later, an outsourcing agreement was signed with a marketing startup for about 5 years. Surrounded by students at the University of Tokyo, I held a computer and spent my days studying various business terms and how to use SaaS tools. When I was a general store manager, time was taken over and over again by office work such as sales and inventory management, human resource management, and ordering, etc., and I was unable to serve customers and often missed sales times. Even when outsourcing, there are many detailed tasks such as input, etc., and “can't such monotonous tasks be automated?” I thought so, and I really sympathize with Yoom's vision!
