Company representatives considering smooth information collaboration between Google Chat and external partners using Slack
Benefits and Examples of Integrating Google Chat and Slack
Benefit 1: Facilitate Information Sharing Between Multiple Chat Tools
By integrating Google Chat and Slack, you can expect smoother information sharing as messages posted on Google Chat can be notified to Slack in real-time. This automation can prevent miscommunication and missed confirmations between teams using both tools, potentially preventing issues before they arise. This can improve operational efficiency between teams using different tools, potentially smoothing project progress.
Benefit 2: Prevent Missing Important Notifications
By integrating Google Chat and Slack, you can quickly notify Slack of important messages posted on Google Chat, preventing missed sharing of important notifications and enabling quicker responses. For example, if important instructions are posted on Google Chat, they may not reach departments or teams using Slack as their main communication tool, leading to delayed responses. However, this automation can ensure that important notifications are shared without omission, helping to prevent oversights.
Benefit 3: Strengthen Collaboration with External Partners and Customers
When sending Google Chat messages to external partners or customers using Slack, it can take time to re-enter information or manually forward messages. This automation allows you to automatically notify Slack of Google Chat messages directly, improving the speed of information sharing and enabling smooth collaboration. For example, you can quickly notify and share progress reports or schedule changes for meetings with external partners, potentially facilitating smooth operations.
From here, we will explain how to notify Slack of messages posted on Google Chat using the no-code tool Yoom.
[What is Yoom]
How to Automatically Notify Slack of Messages Posted on Google Chat
It is possible to achieve this by receiving messages sent to a Google Chat space using the Google Chat API and sending messages to a Slack channel using Slack's API. Generally, programming knowledge is required to achieve this, but with the no-code tool Yoom, it can be easily achieved without programming knowledge.
This flow is created in four main processes.

Introduction to Other Automation Examples Using Google Chat and Slack
Yoom offers many other examples of automation using Google Chat and Slack, so here are a few introductions.
1. A flow that automatically translates messages posted in Google Chat and posts the translated version in Slack. By utilizing this flow, all team members can communicate actively without being conscious of language barriers. This is expected to facilitate smooth information sharing and collaboration.
2. This is a flow that automatically notifies Google Chat of Zoom meeting information at a set time every day. By utilizing this flow, you can efficiently manage information related to meetings and reduce the chances of missing confirmations. As a result, you will be less likely to realize there is a meeting at the last minute and rush to prepare, allowing you to start preparations with more time to spare.
3. This is a flow that automatically adds content posted in a specific room on Google Chat to a Google Spreadsheet. By utilizing this flow, there is no need to manually transcribe the posted content, which facilitates smooth progress management. By using Google Spreadsheets, you can also create reports, making it possible to visualize the project's progress for team members.

Until now, I have experienced sales and sales office work in the human resources industry.
Based on my experience in my previous job, I feel that the problems faced by various companies can be reduced by “automating operations.”
Through Yoom, we will continue to send out information on a daily basis so that we can solve your problems even a little bit!
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
