How to Register a Client in Money Forward Cloud Invoice When a Row is Added to Google Sheets

Step 1: Connect Google Sheets and Money Forward Cloud Invoice with My App

First, connect Google Sheets and Money Forward Cloud Invoice with My App on Yoom.
After logging into Yoom, click "+ New Connection" from "My Menu" on the left side.

Search for each app name and proceed with the input according to the displayed content.

Once My App connection is established, it will be displayed in the app list as shown in the image above. If you can confirm Google Sheets in the same way, the setup is complete.

Next, we will move on to detailed settings.

1. Hover over the banner and click "View Details"
2. Click "Try This Template" on the redirected page
3. Register for Yoom

Step 2: Set Up Triggers in Google Sheets

First, click "When a row is added".
On the first page, the account information linked with My Apps is reflected.

The title can be changed to something more understandable. After confirming the account information, click "Next" without changing the trigger action.

On the next page, enter the trigger interval settings and details of the sheet to be read.

The trigger activation interval is the setting for how often to check for updates to the specified Google Sheets.
The time that can be set varies depending on the plan, so please set it according to your business needs.

Select the Spreadsheet ID and Sheet ID (tab name) from the options, and specify the table range manually.
For the "column with unique values", specify something that ensures no duplicate cell values in the same column (such as unique IDs or email addresses). If there are duplicate values within the same column, the flow may not work correctly.

After entering all the items, click "Test" to obtain the output.

If the items from the specified sheet are correctly reflected in the output, click "Save" to complete the trigger setup.

Step 3: Set Up Client Creation in Money Forward Cloud Invoices

Next, click "Create Client".
On the first page, confirm the account information as you did with Google Sheets, and proceed to the next page.

On the next page, select the information to be reflected in Money Forward Cloud Invoices from the options.

Select the output obtained from the previous Google Sheets setup in the appropriate fields.
After filling in the necessary items, click "Test" to obtain the output.

The output obtained here is not directly related to this flow but will be used in the next step.

After confirming the output, click "Save" to complete the setup for Money Forward Cloud Invoices.

Step 4: Update Settings for Google Sheets

Click "Update Record" for the third step.
Here, you will set up the update for Google Sheets. The sheet update is for the flow paired with "When a row in Google Sheets is updated, update the client in Money Forward Cloud Invoices".

On the first page, after confirming the account information, a field to specify the sheet to be updated will be displayed.

You can select the Google Sheets saved in the linked account, so choose the sheet you want to update the client information for.
The tab name can also be set by simply selecting from the options.

Once the required fields are entered, click "Next" to verify the sheet settings and proceed.

On the next page, set the conditions for the update.

The setting in the above image is to "select the one that matches the client name and update the client ID".

The {{Client ID}} specified here is obtained from the previous Money Forward Cloud Invoices setup.
As a reminder, this Client ID is for the flow "When a row in Google Sheets is updated, update the client in Money Forward Cloud Invoices".

After entering each item, click "Test" to check for errors.
If there are no issues, click "Save" to complete the final flow setup.

Turn on the trigger to activate the flow.

Now, when a row is added to Google Sheets, client information will be registered in Money Forward Cloud Invoices.
