This time, we will create a flow bot that notifies Microsoft Teams when card information is updated in Trello!
The creation process is broadly divided into the following steps.

  • Copy the template
  • Set up the trigger in Trello and the action in Microsoft Teams
  • Turn on the trigger and complete the flow operation preparation

Step 1: Integrate Trello and Microsoft Teams with My Apps

Here, we will integrate Yoom with each app to enable operations.

1. After logging into Yoom, click on My Apps on the left side of the Yoom page screen, and select "+ Add" on the right. Enter "Trello" in the search box at the top right and select Trello from the search results.

2. The Trello registration screen will be displayed, so enter the account name, access token, and API key, and click "Add".

A page like the one below will be displayed, so click on "Power-Up Admin Portal".

This completes the integration of Trello with My Apps.

Integrate Microsoft Teams with My Apps】

1. Next, register Microsoft Teams with My Apps.
Follow the same procedure as before, click the "+ Add" button on Yoom's My Page, and select "Microsoft Teams".

2. When you select Microsoft Teams, the following screen will be displayed. When the screen below is displayed, sign in with the account you will use.

This completes the registration of Microsoft Teams with My Apps.
3. If Trello and Microsoft Teams are displayed in My Apps, the registration is complete!

Step 2: Copy the Template

Now, let's start creating the flow! We are using a template to make it easy to set up, so log in to Yoom and click "Try it" on the banner below.

The template will be automatically copied to your workspace, so please click "OK" on the next screen that appears.

Step 3: Setting Up Trello Trigger

This is the first setup!
1. Please click "When card information is updated (Webhook)".

2. Clicking will take you to the following screen.
Check if the account information is correct, keep the title and trigger action as they are, and proceed to the next step!

3. Next, when the following screen appears, enter the required fields.
Set the "Username" to the 12-character alphanumeric string starting with 'user' displayed on your Trello profile.

4. For the "Board ID", click to display the options and select the board you want to link with Microsoft Teams.

5. Once all the above settings are complete, perform a test. If the test is successful, save it to complete the app trigger setup!

6. Proceed to the next step, and the following screen will appear.

7. Move to the Trello screen and update the card information on the Trello board you just set up. After updating, return to the Yoom screen and click "Test".
The updated card information will be displayed in the output.

8. If there are no errors, click "Save". This completes the Trello trigger setup!

Step 4: Setting Up Microsoft Teams Action

This is the final setup! Here, you will set up notifications to Microsoft Teams when Trello card information is updated.

1. Please click "Send Message to Channel".

2. First, check if the account information to be linked is correct.
The title and execution action are set by default, so no changes are needed.

3. Proceed to the next step, and the following screen will appear.
Here, you will set up the API connection. You can select the "Team ID" and "Channel ID" from the options displayed when you click the input bar.

4. In the "Message" field, set the content to be notified to Microsoft Teams.
Click the box to insert information.

5. Once the input is complete, click "Test". If there are no issues, click "Save".

6. Finally, switch to the Microsoft Teams screen and check if the update of Trello information has been notified.

The notification was successfully sent. Thank you for your hard work!

Step 6: Set Trigger to ON and Complete Flow Operation Preparation

Once the setup is complete, the following menu will be displayed.
Click "Turn on the trigger" to automatically start the flow bot.
