"But I'm always the one manually bridging the gap between them. Why do I have to transfer the same information every single time?"
For those who feel this frustration, we highly recommend trying the Trello and Confluence app integration. For example, you can automatically create a page in Confluence when a card is created in Trello, or document it when a card is moved to a specific list. Additionally, you can compile expired card information in Confluence.

Let's get started by creating a flow that integrates Trello and Confluence!
We will use the no-code tool Yoom to proceed with the integration of Trello and Confluence.
If you don't have a Yoom account yet, please create one using this registration form.
[What is Yoom]
This time, we will create a flow bot that "creates a page in Confluence when a card is created in Trello"!
The creation process is broadly divided into the following steps.
First, let's link Yoom with your app.
Connect Trello with Yoom.
Once logged into Yoom, click on My Apps and select + Add.
In the app list, use the search bar and click on Trello.
Set the account name, access token, and API key, then click Add.
Enter any name for the account name.
After logging into Trello, click here for the access token and API key.
Select the API key on the left and copy it.
Click "Token" to obtain the access token.
Now you have registered Trello's My App.
For detailed instructions on registering Trello's My App, check here.
Make sure you are logged into Confluence.
Then, as before, click My Apps → + Add.
Use the search bar in the app list to select Confluence.
Proceed to the next screen and click "Accept".
Now you have registered Confluence's My App.
Next, copy the template from Yoom's site.
In Yoom, you can set up a flowbot from scratch, but we will explain how to create it using a template for easier setup.
Click the "try it".
Click "OK".
Now you have a copy of the template.
The copied template is saved in My Projects.
Next, proceed to the Flowbot settings.
Click on "When a card is newly created" in the template you just copied.
The title is entered, but you can change it.
Check the account information linked with Trello.
Ensure that the trigger action "When a card is newly created" is selected, and click Next.
Set the username and Board ID.
Select the board you want to link from the candidates for the board ID.
Once set, click Test, and if it shows success, click Next.
Add a new card to the Trello board and run the test again.
Once you have obtained the Trello card information, please save it.
Next, click "Get card information".
You can change the title.
Check the account information linked with Trello.
Ensure that the action "Get card information" is selected, and click Next.
Set the board ID and Card ID.
For the card ID, select the newly registered card information from the trigger.
After setting, execute the test.
If the test is successful and you can obtain Trello information, save it.
This is the final step.
Click "Create Page".
You can change the title.
Check the account information linked with Confluence.
Ensure that the action "Create Page" is selected, and click Next.
Select the cloud ID from the candidates.
Similarly, select the space ID from the candidates.
For the page title, select the "Name of added card" obtained in the trigger setting "When a Trello card is newly created".
Select the content format.
For the page content, select "Card ID" or "URL" from the output of "Get Card Information".
If you do not use the output, the same content will be registered repeatedly, so be sure to use the output.
Refer to here for more about the output.
After setting, execute the test, and if you can create a page in Confluence, save it.
After saving, turn on the trigger and check the operation.
This completes the Flowbot setup.
This time, we introduced how to link data from Trello to Confluence, but if you want to link data from Confluence to Trello, please also use the following template.
This flow is recommended for those who want to save the trouble of manually creating cards in Trello.
You can reduce duplicate input tasks.
By leveraging the APIs of Trello and Confluence, various automations can be achieved.
When a card is created in Trello, you can automatically send notifications to Gmail or Microsoft Teams, or add card information to Google Sheets.
When a page is created in Confluence, information can be automatically linked to Google Sheets or Microsoft SharePoint, and Confluence pages can be automatically generated based on actions in Microsoft Teams or GitHub.
How was it? By integrating Trello and Confluence, you can help solve issues such as "reducing duplicate data entry," "preventing update errors," and "seamlessly connecting tasks and documents." Automatically creating pages and sending notifications can prevent oversights in work and facilitate smooth information sharing within the team.
