How to integrate kintone with Slack to instantly notify Slack of comments added to kintone

a.ohta

If you manage data with kintone and use Slack as your main communication tool, let's integrate kintone with Slack.
By integrating, you will be able to receive real-time notifications in Slack for comments added to kintone.
Not only will you be notified that a comment has been added, but the content will also be automatically notified, making it easier to efficiently prevent oversights.
Before explaining the detailed integration method, let's first introduce the specific benefits!

Benefits of Integrating kintone and Slack

Benefit 1: Promotion of Communication

Since you will be able to receive comments added to kintone in real-time, it will be easier to communicate with a sense of speed.
If not integrated, there will inevitably be a time lag from when a comment is added to when it is checked. However, if you receive immediate notifications in Slack, such lags should be minimized.
This will make communication smoother and make it easier to work well as a team.

Benefit 2: Reduction of Tool Switching

With this integration, the frequency of checking comments in kintone will decrease, minimizing the movement between tools.
Since the content of the comments themselves will be notified, it is possible to create a thread and have a conversation directly on Slack, the communication tool.
This will save time and make it easier to allocate more resources to other tasks.

After working as a general store manager, I started working from home as an SEO writer. Later, an outsourcing agreement was signed with a marketing startup for about 5 years. Surrounded by students at the University of Tokyo, I held a computer and spent my days studying various business terms and how to use SaaS tools. When I was a general store manager, time was taken over and over again by office work such as sales and inventory management, human resource management, and ordering, etc., and I was unable to serve customers and often missed sales times. Even when outsourcing, there are many detailed tasks such as input, etc., and “can't such monotonous tasks be automated?” I thought so, and I really sympathize with Yoom's vision!
