Post to X (Twitter) When a New Record is Added to a Custom Object
You can automatically post to X (Twitter) based on Salesforce data, saving you the trouble of posting manually. This flow is recommended for those who want to automatically post to X (Twitter) after adding product information to Salesforce.
Let's Create a Salesforce and X (Twitter) Integration Flow
Let's get started by creating a flow that integrates Salesforce with X (Twitter)! We'll be using Yoom to proceed with the integration of Salesforce and X (Twitter) without any coding. If you don't have a Yoom account yet, please create one using the registration form.
[What is Yoom]
This time, we will create a flow bot that posts to X (Twitter) when a new record is added to a custom object! The creation process is broadly divided into the following steps.
Register Salesforce and X (Twitter) as My Apps
Copy the template
Set the Salesforce trigger that initiates the flow and the subsequent X (Twitter) action settings
Turn on the trigger button to activate the flow bot
Step 1: Register My Apps with Salesforce and X (Twitter)
First, register my apps to connect Salesforce and X (Twitter) to Yoom. Pre-registering your apps makes it easier to proceed with automation settings.
Let's proceed with the settings! Click "My Apps" → "Add" on the left side of the Yoom screen.
How to Integrate with Salesforce
A list of apps will be displayed, so look for Salesforce or use the search function. When the following screen appears, please log in to Salesforce.
Similarly, look for X (Twitter) from the list or use the search function. When the following screen appears, click "Allow the App to access".
If Salesforce and X (Twitter) are displayed in your My Apps section, the registration is complete.
Step 2: Copy the Template
Let's proceed with the automation settings! Log in to Yoom and click "Try it" on the banner below.
The template will be automatically copied, and the following screen will be displayed. The template will be automatically stored in a project called "My Project," so if you want to check it, please do so from there. Read the following screen display and click "OK."
When the following screen is displayed, please check the "Title." You can also change the title to make it easier to use. First, to set up the flow bot to activate when a new record is added to Salesforce, click "When a new record is registered in the custom object."
Step 3: Set the Salesforce trigger that starts the flow
The following screen will be displayed, so please check the settings. If there are no issues, click "Next."
*Salesforce is an app for users of the Team Plan and Success Plan. If you use it with the Free Plan or Mini Plan, the flow bot's operations and data connections will result in errors, so please be careful. The paid plans (Team Plan and Success Plan) offer a 2-week free trial. During the trial period, you can try Salesforce, which is usually restricted, without any issues. Please take this opportunity to experience various features.
When the following screen is displayed, please set the "Trigger Interval." *The trigger interval varies depending on the plan, so be careful.
Scroll down and set the following required items. The following is an example, so please set it according to the instructions. Please register a new record for testing in Salesforce. *It is assumed that information for SNS posts (e.g., "We have formed a business alliance with Company XX" or "Press release of new features") is managed in the custom object. Once the setup is complete, click "Test."
If the test is successful, "Test Successful" will be displayed, and "Retrieved value" will be shown below it. Although not displayed on the following screen, the values obtained from Salesforce will be added next to the item name of Retrieved value. The retrieved value will be used in the subsequent settings, so please check for any mistakes. Once confirmed, click "Save."
Step 4: Set up posting to X (Twitter)
Next, to set up posting to X (Twitter), click "Post a Post."
The following screen will be displayed, so please check the settings. If there are no issues, click "Next."
The following screen will be displayed, so please set the "Post Text." By utilizing the retrieved values from Salesforce, you can automatically create the text. The retrieved value will be displayed when you click the arrow within the red frame. The following is an example, so please set it as you wish. Once the setup is complete, click "Test." If the test is successful, "Test Successful" will be displayed, so click "Save."
Step 5: Turn on the trigger button and start the flow bot
All item settings are now complete! The following screen will be displayed, so click "Turn on Trigger" to complete the automation setup. Check if the configured flow bot is operating correctly!
This was the flow to post to X (Twitter) when a new record is added to the custom object.

I've been working as a writer since my job in child welfare, and I'm currently writing a blog on Yoom.
While being surprised by the work efficiency improvements that can be made with Yoom, I would like to share that excitement with everyone and contribute to society.
I'll tell you about application integration and automation that even I, who has zero programming knowledge, can do.
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
