How to integrate SPIRAL with Google Calendar to automatically register events in Google Calendar when they are scheduled in SPIRAL

m.wadazumi

Schedule management in business is crucial for conducting operations efficiently.
Therefore, we recommend automating schedule registration by integrating SPIRAL with Google Calendar.
This time, we will discuss how to automate schedule registration and the benefits of integrating SPIRAL with Google Calendar.
By utilizing this automation, it may become easier to share schedules and improve daily work efficiency.

Benefits of Integrating SPIRAL with Google Calendar

Benefit 1: Quick Schedule Sharing

When a schedule is registered in SPIRAL, it is automatically registered in Google Calendar.
With this automation, the entire team can check the latest schedule and quickly share it.
For example, when each member registers a schedule, other members only need to check Google Calendar, making it easier to adjust schedules.
This can help prevent double bookings and missed sharing.

Benefit 2: Reduce Manual Input Effort

By automating schedule management, you can avoid registration errors and reduce workload.
This automation will be helpful for support teams and sales teams when dealing with customers or coordinating meetings.
As a result, staff can save the effort of manual input and proceed with their tasks smoothly.

How to Create a Flow for Integrating SPIRAL with Google Calendar

This time, we will introduce the setup method for the following template: "Registering a schedule in Google Calendar with information registered in SPIRAL."
Using this template is convenient as it eliminates the need to set up automation from scratch.

The process consists of 5 steps, so you can set it up in 10-15 minutes.

  1. Register SPIRAL and Google Calendar as My Apps
  2. Set a trigger to activate when a record is created in SPIRAL
  3. Set an action to retrieve a record in SPIRAL
  4. Set an action to create an event in Google Calendar
  5. Verify the automation between SPIRAL and Google Calendar
