With this workflow, whenever a PDF file is uploaded to Box, the OCR feature automatically extracts the text, DeepSeek analyzes and summarizes the content, and the results are sent to Slack—helping you streamline the entire process.

■Flowbot steps

1. First, connect Box, DeepSeek, and Slack to Yoom.
2. Next, select Box as the trigger, set the action to “When a file is uploaded to a folder,” and specify the target folder.
3. Then, configure Box’s “Download a file” action as an operation to retrieve the file uploaded by the trigger.
4. Next, select the OCR feature’s “Extract text from an image or PDF” action as an operation to extract text from the downloaded file.
5. Next, configure DeepSeek’s “Generate text” action as an operation and instruct it to summarize and analyze the extracted text.
6. Finally, select Slack’s “Send a message to a channel” action as an operation and post the text generated by DeepSeek to the specified channel.

■Workflow customization options

• In the Box trigger settings, specify the content ID of the folder you want to use as the workflow trigger.
• In the OCR settings, you can specify the language of the document to be read and the specific fields you want to extract.
• In DeepSeek’s text generation action, specify the model to use and customize the message (prompt) that instructs it how to process the content, such as summarizing or analyzing it.
• In Slack’s message-sending action, you can specify the ID of the notification channel and customize or edit the message to post in Slack.

• Connect each of Box, DeepSeek, and Slack to Yoom.
• You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
• Note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
• AI operations for OCR and audio transcription are available only on the Team and Success plans. On the Free and Mini plans, configured Flowbot operations that use these features will result in an error.
