Save specific files uploaded to Box to Microsoft SharePoint
■Overview
When using Box and Microsoft SharePoint together, do you find it time-consuming to upload files to both platforms or difficult to manage them? Manually transferring files not only takes time but can also lead to mistakes, such as failing to save important files.
With this workflow, you can automate file storage between Box and Microsoft SharePoint. Whenever a file is uploaded to a specific folder, it is automatically saved to Microsoft SharePoint as well. This eliminates the challenges of manual file management and streamlines your operations.
■Who This Template Is For

■Benefits of Using This Template

- Eliminating manual file transfers helps reduce the risk of human error, such as missed saves or uploading the wrong files.
■Flow Bot Steps
- First, connect Box and Microsoft SharePoint to Yoom.
- Next, select Box as the trigger and set the “When a file is uploaded to a folder” action.
- Then, configure the branching feature in the operation to split subsequent processes based on specific conditions, such as the type of uploaded file.
- Next, set the Box “Download a file” action in the operation and specify the file detected by the trigger.
- Finally, set the Microsoft SharePoint “Upload a file” action in the operation and upload the downloaded file to the specified location.
* “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization Options
- In the Box trigger settings, enter the content ID of the folder you want to use as the starting point for the integration.
- With the branching feature, you can use information obtained by the previous trigger, such as the file name or file size, to set custom conditions for branching subsequent operations.
- When uploading a file to Microsoft SharePoint, you can set fixed values or information retrieved from Box in previous steps as variables for items such as the destination site, folder, and file name.
