■Overview
Do you manually add the time tracked in Clockify to Google Calendar? Transferring your daily task records is not only time-consuming—it can also lead to missing entries and input errors. With this workflow, simply stop the Clockify timer to automatically create a record in Google Calendar. Seamlessly connect time tracking with record management and improve operational accuracy.
■Who Is This Template For?
- Anyone who manually enters time tracked in Clockify into Google Calendar and wants to reduce the effort required to connect the two
- Managers who manage and share work records by project in Google Calendar with their team
- Anyone looking to improve the accuracy of time tracking and prevent gaps in work reports
■Benefits of Using This Template
- Automatically create a work record when the Clockify timer stops, reducing the time previously spent manually transferring records to Google Calendar
- Prevent human errors such as missed entries and transcription mistakes, helping improve the accuracy of time tracking
■Workflow
- First, connect Clockify and Google Calendar to Yoom
- Next, select Clockify as the trigger and set the “Timer Stopped” action. This starts the workflow whenever a timer is stopped
- Then, set branching conditions in the operation so that subsequent steps run only when specific conditions are met. For example, you can configure the workflow to run only when a timer for a specific project is stopped
- Finally, set the Google Calendar “Create Event” action in the operation to add a work record to the calendar based on the information retrieved from Clockify
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that performs processing within the workflow after the trigger starts
■Customization Options
- In the Clockify trigger settings, enter the ID of the Workspace you want to include in the automation. This lets you control the workflow so that it runs only for a specific workspace
- For the branching conditions, freely customize the criteria for running subsequent steps based on information retrieved from Clockify, such as the project name and task details
- In the Google Calendar Create Event action, use values retrieved from Clockify for the event title, start and end times, description, and other fields so that the work record is easy to understand
■Notes
- Connect both Clockify and Google Calendar to Yoom.
- Branching is an operation available on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, operations configured in the workflow will result in an error.
- Paid plans, including the Mini plan, offer a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
