When you're overwhelmed with work, it can be a hassle to notify Discord every time you add data to Notion.
In such cases, why not automate notifications by integrating Notion with Discord?
This not only leads to improved work efficiency but also helps prevent mistakes like missed notifications.
Here, we introduce a method to integrate Notion and Discord without any coding.
It's easy to set up even without programming knowledge, so give it a try!
In this article, we introduce a method of integration using the no-code tool "Yoom".
No complicated settings or operations are required, making it easy for non-engineers to achieve.
You can start immediately using the template below, so be sure to give it a try!
[About Yoom]
From here, we will explain the actual integration with images.
Once the setup is complete, you can automatically notify Discord when a new record is updated in Notion.
For basic operations of Yoom, please refer to Getting Started with Yoom.
First, let's integrate your Discord and Notion apps.
Open "My Apps" on the left side of the Yoom screen and click "+ Add".

On the next screen, search for Notion and Discord and register them as My Apps.
<For Notion>
・Click "Select Pages".

・Check the box and click "Allow Access" to complete the registration to My Apps.

<For Discord>
・Enter your account name and access token, then click "Add" to complete the registration to My Apps.
※ For obtaining the account name and access token, please check the help page here.
※ The access token can be obtained from the Discord Developer Portal.

Once the integration is complete, confirm that the app name has been added to complete the integration.

Once My App registration is complete, click "Try it out" on the banner below and copy the template.
First, set the trigger at the top of the flow.

If the app integration is complete, the registered account information should be reflected, so please check it.

If there are no issues, press the "Next" button to proceed.
The trigger action does not need to be changed for this flow.

Next, proceed to the API settings.
You can select the trigger interval at 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. The shortest trigger interval varies depending on the plan. Generally, a shorter setting is recommended.
Enter the database ID, press the "Test" button, and if no error occurs, save and proceed to the next step, then click "Retrieve Records".

Enter the database ID and proceed to the next step.

Set the conditions for the records you want to retrieve as shown below, test them, and if successful, save them.

Next, move on to the Discord settings.

Check the account to be integrated with Discord and proceed to the next step.

Set the channel ID and message content, then test it.
If the test is successful, a message will be notified to the specified channel. If there are no issues, save it.

Finally, turn the trigger ON to complete the setup.
