y.matsumoto
Telegram and Discord are both essential tools for information sharing and communication, aren't they? Many people might be using Telegram for project communications and Discord for community interactions.
However, constantly checking multiple tools can be challenging, and there's a risk of missing important information. Especially when you want to quickly share an important message received on Telegram with your team members on Discord, manually copying and pasting can be not only cumbersome but also cause delays in information transmission...
In this article, we will explain "how to automatically notify Discord of messages received on Telegram" with specific steps to solve such issues.
For those who want to try it quickly
Yoom offers a workflow automation template that "automatically notifies Discord when a message is received on Telegram." If you want to try it right away, click the banner below to get started!
Various Automation Methods Using Telegram and Discord
By integrating Telegram and Discord, you can reduce the hassle of information sharing and make communication smoother. With Yoom, you can build various automation flows with just click operations, without the need for programming knowledge.
Here, we will introduce some specific examples of linking Telegram messages to Discord, so find the automation that suits your usage and give it a try!
Automatically Notify Discord of Telegram Messages
First is the basic integration. When you receive a new message in a specific Telegram channel or group, the content is automatically notified to a designated Discord channel.
This allows you to receive information in real-time on Discord without constantly monitoring Telegram. It eliminates the need for manual forwarding, helping to prevent information sharing leaks and delays!
Automatically Notify Discord of Telegram Messages Under Specific Conditions
Instead of notifying all messages received on Telegram, it is possible to automate notifications to Discord for only "messages containing specific keywords" or "messages from specific users", allowing for more flexible automation.
For example, you can notify only important project-related communications to the development team channel on Discord or share only specific alert messages with the operations team. This way, you can reduce noise and efficiently deliver only the necessary information!
Automatically Notify Discord with Processed Telegram Messages
You can not only notify Discord with the received Telegram messages as they are, but also process the content before notifying.
For example, it is possible to automatically translate foreign language messages into Japanese before notifying, or to summarize long messages using AI before sharing. This helps in overcoming language barriers and quickly grasping the essence of information, enabling smarter information sharing.
Notify Telegram and Discord Starting from Forms and Emails
You can also notify both Telegram and Discord with information originating from tools other than Telegram.
For example, when there is a new response to a web form or a specific email is received, it is possible to simultaneously notify both a Telegram channel and a Discord channel with the content. This allows for centralized information sharing across multiple tools, enabling all stakeholders to quickly catch up on information.
Let's Create a Flow to Notify Discord When a Message is Received on Telegram
Here, we will explain the steps to create the most basic flow of "notifying Discord when a message is received on Telegram" using Yoom. No programming knowledge is required! You can easily achieve automation by simply following the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Copy the Template
Let's proceed with the automation settings! Log in to Yoom and click "Try it" on the banner below.
If the following message appears, the template copy was successful. The copied template will be stored in My Projects!
Step 3: Set up a trigger to activate when the bot receives a message on Telegram
First, click on the Telegram icon labeled "When the bot receives a message" to set up the app trigger!
The next page is already set up. Ensure the trigger action is set to "When the bot receives a message" and click the "Next" button.
Change the title to something easy to understand if necessary!
Once you've checked the annotations, run the test and click the "Next" button.
On the next page, once you've checked the annotations, first send a test message using the Telegram bot. (You can set the message content freely!)
Once sent, return to the Yoom screen and click the "Test" button.
If the test is successful, the output will be obtained. Once you confirm that the content of the sent message is reflected, save the settings to complete the app trigger setup! ※Reference: For more details on the output, please check here.
