Benefits of Integrating Google Calendar with kintone
Real-time Schedule Addition
Automated Sharing
Error Reduction
1. Real-time Schedule Addition
By integrating Google Calendar with kintone, you can track schedules in real-time. When a comment is entered into a kintone record, that information is reflected in Google Calendar, allowing you to instantly confirm schedule additions. This makes it easier to keep up with the latest schedules. You can also reduce mistakes like forgetting to register a schedule later.
2. Automated Sharing
Integration allows for smooth schedule sharing. Information registered in kintone is automatically reflected in Google Calendar, eliminating the need for double entry of schedules. By using Google Calendar's sharing features, everyone can access the latest information, reducing communication gaps. This is particularly useful in project management and team collaboration involving multiple people.
3. Error Reduction
You can reduce human errors that often occur when entering data manually. Since information registered in kintone is automatically reflected in Google Calendar, the risk of input errors and double entries is reduced. This increases the accuracy of schedules and reduces the time and cost involved in schedule adjustments, thereby improving overall business efficiency.

How to Create a Google Calendar and kintone Integration Flow
Now, let's use Yoom to integrate Google Calendar and kintone without code!
"When a comment is written on a kintone record, create a schedule in the integrated Google Calendar" is the template we'll use to create a flow bot. This time, we'll assume a regular meeting at the end of the month and set it to activate when a comment is entered into a kintone record. When a comment is entered into kintone, it automatically registers a schedule in Google Calendar, significantly reducing the effort required for schedule management!
Preparation
■Log in to Yoom
Please log in to your registered Yoom account.
■Create an app in kintone and enter comments
1. Log in to kintone.
2. Click the + button for apps and select "Create from scratch".
3. Enter a title of your choice, drag and drop fields into the space on the right, and change the field names. In this case, we used the fields "Date and Time" and "String (single line)" and named them "Date and Time", "Location", and "Participants".
4. Click "Publish App" to complete the app.
5. Open the created app, enter any date, location, and participant names in the record, and save. Then, "Comment" will be displayed, so write any comment you like.
This completes the preparation!

Advanced Integration Flow of Google Calendar and kintone
There are other flow bots using Google Calendar and kintone. We have prepared an example template for you to use!
■Register information in Google Calendar when it is registered in kintone
This flow bot is triggered by record registration in kintone. When a record is registered in the kintone app, it is set to register an event in Google Calendar, reducing the effort of double entry. This template is perfect for streamlining schedule management, whether for individuals or teams!

Summary
This time, we introduced a flow to "create an event in the linked Google Calendar when a comment is written on a kintone record." By integrating kintone with Google Calendar, you can automate schedule management and prevent input errors or omissions. Furthermore, when combined with other features of Yoom, the range of possibilities expands to include document creation and notifications to chat tools.
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
