When you regularly use Gmail, do you sometimes miss notifications from Google Chat?
If you're not in the habit of opening Google Chat, you might not notice the notifications.
With Yoom, by integrating Google Chat and Gmail, you can receive notifications in Gmail for messages sent to Google Chat.
By using Yoom, you can easily set it up without needing to input complex code.
This article will introduce "How to notify Gmail of messages sent to Google Chat."

Benefits and Automation Examples of Integrating Google Chat and Gmail

By integrating Google Chat and Gmail, you can prevent missing messages and reduce the hassle of manual input.
Below, we've summarized the benefits including automation examples.

1. Prevent Missing Messages

It's possible to notify Gmail of messages sent to Google Chat.
This means you don't need to open Google Chat to check the content.
You only need to check the content of the email received in Gmail, which improves work efficiency.
Information sharing becomes smoother, and you can prevent missing messages.

2. Reduce Manual Input Hassle

It's possible to notify Google Chat of the content of emails received in Gmail.
This is the opposite flow of the first point, but this automation is also possible.
This eliminates the need to manually input the content of emails to notify Google Chat.
This is especially recommended when the apps used differ between client companies.

3. Easier Schedule Management

When an interview reservation is sent to Gmail, you can input the schedule into Google Calendar and notify Google Chat.
This way, the interview reservation date is automatically entered into Google Calendar, making schedule management easier.
Additionally, if you add a setting to notify Google Chat, you can inform the entire team that an interview reservation has been made!
